I don't believe it was intended that at level 3 we should be able to plant a banner garden and have them spring up by the thousands for free. The suggestion was for a production building to make what has become a very highly sought after item. Sure, it should use some mah wood as well as the wool. Maybe some gold or platinum ore as well. Should they be easy to produce? No. Does that mean it's not a good idea? No.
Maybe we should also suggest an armourer so our cavalry and knights don't need to go into battle in loincloths. Or stringmakers so our bows will actually work. Or maybe a ropemaker so we can actually lift the water buckets out of the well. How about cobblers so our recruits can have boots? Oh, yeah... that's just silly, isn't it.

The Banners are the only collectible worth anything.
I don't think anyone's disputing that. It's why it would be awesome to get more of them rather than have to rely on the pathetically low numbers dropped with the collectibles.
Wouldn't it be easier to have factories for say all then for say worth of banners in collections for collections??
