When will XP be offered in the gem shop? Say 1000 gems per 1 million XP? Since everything else seems to be for sale.

I don't get why people expect them to just hand them extra gems on a silver platter. Gem sales are a way for people who play regularly to get extra gems for no more cost.

As for earning the special building, I think there should be two of all the special buildings just one labeled (possibly look a different) to solve the problem of those who earn vs those who buy.

i love the irony of the epic building sale during a time when moving or placing new buildings can be catastrophic to your island...

Is the sale over already? I can't find it in the Merchant.

What I don't get is why people see this as a "problem". If you don't like the idea of buying a building, then don't buy the building. Simple. Feel free to adventure and hope that minute chance of a rare drop pays off sooner or later.

Whether I buy a building for gems or not affects only my game, nobody else's. We don't play against each other and one player's growth in no way inhibits another player's; it's not a zero sum game. Sure, it may have some small impact on the in-game economy if I buy stuff with gems and sell it cheap, but so what? It means you can use your hard-earned in-game coins to buy the stuff that I bought with my hard-earned real-world dollars.

The Frozen Manner was the only thing I wanted, but it was 10 times what Id pay. 495 and I may have bought 200 of them and another package during the Easter event.

But I won't pay 4750 each. Here's hoping the offer it again at a more reasonable price

At least we had a chance to get a rare building by using gems but it would be nice if we could have gotten them by playing the appropriate adventure a specific number of times. I spend money on gems because I liked the game enough to do that but not everyone can buy gems and that leaves them out.

Well stated. Completely agree. Buildings and special decorations obtained in adventure loot should not be tradable (like event items), imo, and thusly not available for merchant purchases.
