This would have been nice during Easter event, but right now I am amassing as many Woodcutters and other adventures because my explorer army (21 - soon to be 22 strong) will be doing nothing but treasure searches for eggs during the event. Don't forget to save up "books" for the new event Explorer!

I see. So, it appears that the Euro-wiki's numbers are pretty close then. Then, considering the length of the search(s), it is not really worth doing on it's own merit; only if you already send them out on prolonged anyway.

Yep..... I'll add a confirmation that prolonged searches are a waste of time, especially for grout. I started them as soon as I was able, kept track of the results and quit as soon as I realized the resources returned were laughable. Nobody's missing out with this one.

On the other hand, I'm in total agreement with SweaterPuppies. I love that BB is beginning to do limited offers on a frequent basis. I'm not gonna love every single one, but there will probably be some I'm really happy to see. This could get interesting.

Agreed, Wasted about 3 weeks on Prolonged after attaining the ability, only got grout once, and with only 17 explorers (14 usable for long searches), the results are disheartening. On the other hand, I agree with you that I might like next offer, and go for it. For now, business as usual.

And here are the results. Out of the 36 prolonged treasure searches I sent out.... one came back with grout. So yeah, the drop rate it low.

Yes, this particular boost catered to the high level players. I am sure the next one will be super badass awesome. Just be happy we are getting something rather than nothing. I will take my extra 33 grout that I would not have got, put it in a swimming poo, and roll around in it with joy.
    One army. Pretty please.

Actually, not really impressed with the grout drops on the searches either. Not sure how many explorers sent out but only 1 actually brought grout in. Didnt seem doubled. Seemed like it was the nomal haul. Must be using that same system they used for the supposedly increased pumpkin drop that I never hit 60 found pumpkins on my island

I actually didn't get any grout on these searches during the double time, and I have gotten it more often before

At least you did get SOME grout. I sent all my explorers out on prolonged search more than once and none brought any grout back at all. What a sham this was lol. Before the Treasure Boost, they would at least bring back some grout, usually about 33, not much, but it was something.

To top things off the explorers that came back after this special ended... five had grout, one of them was double grout. Hooray for random number generators!

I got out 45 prolonged searches through that thingy BB did. My results. 7 finds of grout. For me that was pretty much normal ratio I seem to always have. 0-4 grout finds each run.

What I have noticed, and I plan to keep track this event, is the drop in granite and (I can't believe I'm saying this) salt peter ratios. Not to mention the drop to WT's. I used to get tons of SP and groaned about that and now it rarely drops. Titanium seems to be about the same for me, but granite on some adventures I used to be good at getting drops are now flooding me with EWL instead.
