The quests for "Where Do Easter Eggs Come From" is not particularly hard, and with a bit of planning, the swapping back and forth between the scenario island and mainland can be reduced to a minimum. This is the sequence I used:
1) Start the Adventure (do not travel yet)
2) Make 7 cages and 5 calming sprays - they do not need anything from the adventure. This will take 13 minutes on the RPH or level 5 PH.
3) Go to the adventure and collect the stinking plants
4) Return to Mainland
5) Make the 5 bug sprays from the collectibles, preferably in another provision house. By the time this is done, the cages should be done already
6) Return to the adventure island, apply the sprays to the nests and use the cages on the caves
7) Collect the chickens
8) Return to Mainland
9) Convert the chickens in the provision house. By this time, the calming sprays should be completed
10) Return to the adventure island, place the chickens
11) Wait until next quest section comes up, then apply the calming spray
12) Scenario is complete, and will finish normally

This reduces the number of transits to the island to three times total, with 3 returns total, which is better than many longer adventures.

I think I ran one scenario when they first came out, noted that they were useless, and never ran one again. Did they have this in last year's Easter event..can't remember to tell you the truth. You can over produce buffs for side quests so why not scenarios?

Though I hear you all and there is nothing we can do about TSO; what I do to prevent TSO from taking my Netflix/YouTube/Pandora and etc. down with it is to run TSO in FireFox (personal fav) and run my other programs in other browsers, I do Pandora in IE/Edge and YouTube/Netflix/Hulu in Chrome or Maxthon.... when TSO bombs, other programs continue like nothing happened.

I love when people blame TSO for something they have no control over. If you are opening 4 demanding windows in a browser than deal with the issues. TSO can't control what you do other than their game. I have no issues doing scenarios and have 3 tabs opening at all times.

What the deuce is the point of these scenarios? "Where Do Easter Eggs Come From" is an exercise in frustration. It's a boring, repetitive time-suck that accomplishes nothing and just makes the game crash because, you know, loading different maps repeatedly. It's seriously stupid. If you want us to just waste time, could you please please please make it be to do something other than just wait while buffs cook up in the PH and then reload maps back and forth and back and forth.

I'm sure this is not the first rant about the scenarios, and I know it's very unlikely to change anytime soon. But come on, you've got to realise that no one likes doing this.

Well, all of this aside, what I'm finding more frustrating is scenarios that do not provide all of the collectibles. This makes the scenario impossible to complete. Sure, submit a ticket and after compiling all of the screenshots, documenting the issue, wasting a Fairy Light, you eventually get loot, but what a waste of time. Certainly, one would expect that quality control within the software would be easy to implement to verify the distribution of the required collectibles.
