Worst Event ever?

I think part of the perception for some of the newer players is they have an inherent right to be able to get "everything" it doesent and shouldnt be that way -if that's the case why have the event? Just give everyone an event package and be done with it. Its not supposed to be easy. I remember the first Easter I basically wiped out my Isle resources entirely to get the Vet(no MMA) in those days.


As usual if people are in decent guild there no reason if even a fairly new player cant get an MMA. Giving them easy adventures, taking them on LS -not that big a deal. Can they get everything? No. But certainly with effort they canget the almighty MMA and explorer.



As far of mechanics of getting eggs,it's never been easier. More on isle, better quests,guaranteed successful treasure searches, eggs for guild quests, easy adventures give decent egg drops etc. So its the usual situation you cant make everyone happy.

In my first events, except the very first one (I joined during Halloween), I got all of the rewards I wanted, but I had to scrape together every resource I could get my hands on to trade for event resources to do that. It wasn't until after the summer event that I finally felt like I had established a profitable island that wasn't just feeding into events, but it was well worth it in the end.

Even still, I avoided some of the quests. I think it was a year after I joined when I didn't bother with the higher level golems because I didn't think it was worth the titanium.

Ditto, one of the better. But another one I have quit on before its over. The party crashes fortress isn't worth the cost of troops.

the party crashers were a bit of a pain, anytime new troops are added without a BB supplied Simulator its a hard to work out troop counts. Only one online simulator I found had the easter event troops and it worked great except for when a leader was in the party crashers.

I don't think this is the worst event BB has had since I started. Some of the things you posted were going on before the event. With more players on the server is "I'm guessing" overloading it and we have more lag than normal. I've been frustrated with a few of those bugs and lost 1 adventure from canceling because of needing to reload in the middle of a block to save my troops.

I like all the gens we could get and the explorer, butchers, improved silos, watermills, not hugely over priced grout, but I'm sad floating house was not there.

Took me a few days and I got all I wanted doing a ton of adventures instead of relying on buying eggs in the TO by emptying out my star menu of my hoard of resources to get them or buying gems to buy eggs.

The party crashers sucked only because again, I don't like BB taking what I hoarded

But I did it and lived. My titanium bars stash has been horribly violated and will need some time to recover. BB don't come after it again please have mercy!

All in all the event has been fun and now I do a few adventures (a little sick of BK and RB now) to help lower level players in my guild get those eggs for their stuff.

I see in the trade channel players giving away free LS to players under level 49, so I like to take time to thank those players for their generosity as well

Such an awful event. Designed apparently for high lvl rich players. And even there, I think, it's more a hardwork (1200 eggs from adventures, rly?) rather than an entertainment.

Being blocked from completing certain achievments is also frustrating. For example, I have 3 explorers: normal, lucky and intrepid (first thing I bought for eggs, on day 2 or so). The event has nearly ended, and they've only collected 440 eggs out of 600 despite being sent to treasure search almost without breaks. So, how many explorers are you supposed to have to complete this? Four? Five? And there is no warning anywhere that you won't make it unless you stack tavern explorers like mad.

Funny thing, with this 50-point achievement even the lvl 5 storehouse is unobtainable - 660 points against 670 required (sure, 0 points for Garrun but 10 for 20-minutes "Where do the eggs...". Where's ******* logic??). No sir, you must to get 750 eggs from adventures, which is 38 eggs per day, which is, considering the crappiest droprate, approx. 3 adventures per day (no rest, no day off). Do I need to tell, that this is hardly possible for those who are not yet 'elite'(with tons of spare troops and goods) and/or have real life?

This is a very *** treatment on the part of the devs. I've played many mmo games before, and I've never seen seasonal events (which supposed to bring fun and relief from mundane lvling/grinding for players) that would turn into such a disgusting discrimination and even worse grinding.

yes, he shut down... is why i stopped updating ... playing as much... his name- Asipak... smiles... and he was from German server... there is more to why, there were other circumstances... it was exceptional, and wrecked me lolol for using others...

I agree 100% with Pochucker & TLC1. I think this event was better balanced for different player levels than previous events (and the event guild quests were easier than normal gqs). Events are challenging for new players (and some low-level players) because they don't have the resources. My first event was certainly challenging and I didn't get everything I wanted from the event merchant. Being in a supportive guild helped me get some things I didn't expect to get. But I didn't expect to get everything.

New players need to remember that this game is a marathon, not a sprint. Expecting to get everything from the event merchant the first time out of the gate is just asking for disappointment--it's not a flaw in the way the event is set up, IMHO. Newbies who have realistic expectations will be around for the next event. Otherwise, experienced players will be happy to pick up any resources from rage quitters in the TO after the event, as usual.
