Well actually they probably wouldn't have snuck it in like that. I've just never seen it work before.

Well Puppies Person, you were right. I got another: adventure on the left, frags on the right and the frags were wrong again. So I guess it does fluctuate back and forth like you said.

There is probably a " missing somewhere in the code.
One army.Pretty please.
Hello Settlers,
The feedback received regarding the loot of the Intrepid Explorer has been passed on and an investigation followed.
Every time an explorer goes on an adventure search, a loot table is generated to determine which reward is obtained.
In the case of the Intrepid Explorer, an unskilled one will generate a loot table composed of two loot slots when sent on an adventure search, because of the "Intrepid skill".
When an Intrepid Explorer with the Wild Determination skill finds map fragments, a modifier is applied, increasing the amount of map fragments found. This skill (like all skills) only applies to the first loot slot. If the skill is maximized (90%), the original loot generated for this slot is multiplied by 1.90 and the total amount is displayed within the first loot slot.
When the Trouble-seeker skill gets triggered for an Intrepid Explorer, a third loot slot is displayed within the generated loot. This slot is not affected by any other skills. The adventure loot returned by the Intrepid Explorer has a maximum of 3 loot slots.
As a result, it is now confirmed that everything is working as intended.
Happy Settling,

If I find one adventure and map frags, why shouldn't the frags get the bonus? Any frags found should get the bonus, not just the 1st slot. It still looks like a bug, no matter what kind of explanation gets doled out.
Then of course there's always this, which pokes a wide, gaping hole in the official explanation. Of course the answer will be to "fix" it so only the first slot gets the bonus rather than make it work the way everyone in the game has expected it to work from the beginning, which is, all map frags found get the bonus applied, just like it's doing here, except it's not supposed to according to the devs.
If this is going to be the "official stance", that Wild Determination only applies to a single slot, then the following needs to change.
There needs to be a qualifier, making it clear that this is how it's intended to work.
Once maximum costs are reached in the bookbinder, it takes more than 2 weeks (unbuffed) to produce the 15 manuscripts necessary to produce the 3 tomes needed to go to 90% bonus. Is it worth it if it doesn't work in conjunction with other skills, or with the Intrepids bonus slot? Not to me. But to change it, I either need to spend 1,000 gems, or lose half my books and spend many weeks re-making them. Sounds like fun, huh?

Hello,
Our Team has asked to collect some additional information.
When encountering these results, could you please let us know what Adventure search these were done on?
Also, could you provide the detailed information about the Intrepid Skill tree?
Thank you

Glad to hear we're still working on this. Thank you.
All searches I've done are very long adventure searches. After not doing adventure searches for several years, I restarted doing them when the Very Long Search became available.
The only explorer I have with Trouble Seeker is the Intrepid. Here's a screen shot of her skill tree.
Regarding the screen shot I posted in #10 and SweaterPuppies responded to in #11, I was in error thinking 35 frags was Wild Determination working. My mistake, sorry for any confusion this may have caused. 35 frags is a normal return: it's either 20 or 35 and with the 90% bonus is either 38 or 67 (66?).
I'm pretty sure Raubhautz is having problems with Wild Determination in combination with Trouble Seeker on all his explorers, not just the Intrepid.
Hope this gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction. Thanks again.
