A few updates ago there were notes about this being adjusted.
And it seemed to be pretty good right through the end of Easter, but after the event ended and the collectibles reset to 'normal' spawns, you may as well call it the 'Scarecrow and Herb' radio hour on my island when spawns hit. Forget about finding more than 2 banners, if I'm that lucky. Usually it's 0 or 1.
Did this get re-adjusted to be super stingy again?
seems like most days its herb and Scarecrow heavy with a random 5-10 banner day every once and awhile
As wertent said, usually mostly herbs/scaredy's/barrels and a number between 1-4in regards to banners/foodcarts/leather.
I have thousands of scarecrows/herbs/barrels.
I've stopped bothering to check any longer.
One reason I don't care if I finish collections any more. If a collectible presents itself during routine happenings, I nab it, otherwise not worth wasting my breath, or stressing.

So after accumulating 10's of 1000's of barrels I seldom bother to even pick them up, as they can only be used with the rarest of the drops. And the RPH recipe was equally absurd, convert the 10's of 1000's of barrels to... stone deposits? Seriously? A 2 minute search at worst for my geologist?
I do a quick once-around on the map, and I click on everything I see because they are there. Sometimes I'll make stone deposits just to waste barrels. Really the only collectible worth anything are the banners. You can literally sell those for about as much as all the other collectibles (save for kettles) combined.
