    Gem Buyers VS Non-Gem Buyers

Just curious if gem buyers get more buildings from adventures. I don't buy gems and haven't gotten a building in a while, or could it be the chances of getting one are so ridiculously low?

The chances are so ridiculously low, close to 0.

Not sure about this. Though it sounds reasonable at first thought, if I'm in business to make money (sell gems in this case), if I'm going to handicap anyone, I'd be making the money-bag types get poorer results so they continue tossing money into the kitty; why starve the ones who do not contribute, you'd only make them leave and in a large social game like TSO, you want as many people playing as possible. Knowing that BB is all about making the money, I'd be pretty sure that if anyone is getting taken by the 'house', it would be those who can afford to spend - they would also be the ones less likely to whine or complain about having to pay.

I'm not sure about that. I'm not into the habit of paying for things that are not worth it. So by handicapping people, you might as well close shop. My money has gone elsewhere. Bad Psychology there

Perhaps you missed the operative word there, "if." I would, as a business owner, never try to 'tilt the scales', only bad things can come from that. Not sure there is any 'good psychology' in intentionally ripping people off.

For sure. That's called bad business practices according to the Better Business Bureau or a scam as some might call it.

Also, how does one define 'gem buyers'?

Is that someone who has at least once purchased gems, someone who purchases gems in a certain quantity at once, buys on a certain frequency, has purchased a cumulative amount of xx gems over time, etc?

Just defining that parameter alone could entail days, weeks and years of argument and butt-hurt among a committee set up to implement such a plan.

Since the recent focus seems to be on making things like chat stay working and introducing new content and putting on events, I humbly submit that the tinfoil hats may be put away for another day. There is no such thing as a higher building drop rate for gem buyers.
