oh wow you're fixing easter stuff.. in july... ok then... and i certainly HOPE your not limiting all items to 100 or less per trade.
-
So the max you can trade buffs will be 100. Refills max out at 10,000. Building will only be traded one at a time. Resources can still be traded limitless. Alright.
Any reason you are fixing Easter stuff now when the event won't appear again for another 8 months or so?
-
Yeah I am kind of confused by that limit thing. The max one building thing is horrible if I am reading it right. What is wrong with the current system. If someone wants to trade 5 watermills for 1 improved watermill, why stop them? Other than that all these bug fixes seem rather old. I want to be able to land more than one general at a time on Secluded Experiments. That and you to fix the broken map zoom that does not work like you say it does but every time I point it out I get "working as intended" as the reply.
On the plus side. Premium time countdown is a long awaited change for many people.
One army.

Pretty please.

First off, the link to this thread from the changelog is broken.
BB, could you please explain the reasoning behind the trade limits? 1-fish trades are essential for how we as players operate, and from time to time my guild holds 100-stone auctions, where us guildies bid for awesome items with stones (we can only spend up to 100 stones total for the whole auction). Or does the limit refer to a maximum number of items that can be traded?
What does "The limitation of resources is dependent on the storage capacity of the player" mean? I'm interpreting that as meaning that we can't have friends send us materials when we're already full, thereby sending those materials to our star menu, known as starring an item.
" "Add Resource" and "Add content to a deposit" buffs stack together in the Star Menu" makes no sense to me, as those are two different things.
Some clarification would be most-appreciated.

I don't see the need to change the structure of the trades. Great, other adjustments are meh. Glad to see them, but they don't alter my game experience in any earth shattering way.
What is the thought process behind fixing what isn't broken (trade) when there are so many other areas that are in desperate need of addressing? Let's focus the limited resources available on things that actually matter to the players.
Are the update projects prioritized by a random word generator or drunken sailors?

the new linits r a bad idea should stay the same

If these changes are to be taken literally, then we're limited to trades of 100 of anything, which isn't a depo, unless the item in question is A) a resource, and B) we have room for less than 100, in which case we can't ask for more than we've got room for (which is already the case). But what you're writing is that we can't ask for more than 100 of a thing, say water, in one trade?! Are you serious?
-
Okay, I've read the changelog regarding the changes to Trade at least 10 times, and I'm still confused. The only thing I can come up with is that the player-created workaround known as "starring" is being removed by the devs for some reason. Or perhaps it's the practice of helping newer players by "posting 1 fish" to receive help from the more affluent players is being eliminated? Then again, it could be that it's simply a matter of an awkwardly worded changelog that might benefit from some real-game examples of the impact these changes might have on players and trading. In the meantime, we have a whole week to attempt to decipher what the heck is going on.
Now, where did I put my handy-dandy super secret decoder ring? Might be helpful while trying to sort through what this all means.

Does this mean I cannot buy 1 million water in trade, as I like to do?
