I have wondered since the trading improvements were implemented why I couldn't buy 10 bags of snow or whatever, but that seems like a simple fix without modifying everything else.

If BB doesn't set the limits.. then who is going to buy those extra trade slots for gems (or coins)...
The balance in force has been disturbed and BB must do everything possible to restore the balance..
They are the Jedi of Settlers Online.. and I am sure, they have data to prove that their gems sales dropped due to drop in players purchasing trade slots.
I have nothing I want to buy with gems anymore.
Slow generals turn me away from making progress in the game.. no game, no need for gems..
Sticking around with friends, and living on ls..
Slow gens might be needed to slow down those who play for 8+ hours in a day..
For me, its just a waste of time.. which cannot be bought with gems.
Agreed. With 20/20 hindsight.
If something can go wrong, it will.
Yup. Expeditions effectively ruined adventuring for me. You can do an entire expedition map from scratch in less time than it takes for your fastest generals to even get to an adventure. Your expedition generals move much faster than your adventure generals. Most expedition maps are smaller than most adventure maps. At this point I'm here to get to level 30 expedition. By then I'll be only level 52 or 53 in regular level. I was level 50 when the expansion started. Adventures are too agonizingly slow and tedious to do more than a couple a month.
