I wish we could see in the top summary row the amount of crystals available. Right now we need to actually click on the Excelsior to see the amount.

we should be able to pin a mini version of excelsior window..
So that one can view the crystals, and as soon as one gets one, hit the button right there and then..
No need to move to the corner of island, and open the window.. Both problems solved

This would make more sense if there were more ways to get crystals...

Unfortunately, with the current system, I get a few crystals each morning, visit Excelsior once to spin them, possibly a couple of extra spins if I get some more crystals during the spin, and then ... done with it for the day. Would be nice if it could be used more.

Keep in mind, BB designed it so that the rewards are better if you cook them in larger batches rather than one at a time.

How do we know that's true about cooking in large batches?

Well....... I've been tracking my results on the live server where I do single crystals. I'm getting snippets around 33% of the time so far doing long letters, altho after today's glut of mahogany & grout it nose dived to just below 30%. I expect it'll come back up over the course of the week tho.

After seeing this post, of course I had to go to test and try it. I did batches of 4 crystals at a time in long letters. What I found is over the long run it doesn't seem to make any difference. Snippets still drop around 33% of the time overall. Since we're only getting around 12 crystals a day I figured what amounts to about 2 weeks worth of turns/data is relevant to the discussion.
