I, too, have been tracking this and I've made an interesting discovery. If I use crystals, it freezes in Chrome, Firefox and Opera and I have to refresh. If, however, I use Gems instead (I won some in a contest so I figured "why not?") there were no freezes at all, not in any of the three browsers. Not exactly a scientific method of testing, but it did make me wonder if there's a reason for the discrepancy in outcomes. Perhaps the dev team could find this to be a helpful "clue."
