Congrats. When I got it, I was almost thinking I didn't need any more manuscripts because I had been running the bookbinder buffed for so long, but it's essential with general skill trees.
I'd be happy to have the tome recipe at this point to give myself a bit of a boost, but until you get to where you have more manuscripts than you need, it's not worth wasting them to speed up tome production. Not really necessary but would be nice to have.
Someone suggested that it might be worth saving the boxes to open several of them at once, so I saved up 5 and opened them yesterday. Still no manuscript recipe, am at about 66 tries here. This is so discouraging.

80th attempt and no manuscript recipe. I was hoping to get it before general skills was introduced. Its going to take a lonnnngggg time to upgrade my generals.

That some of you have tried this many times without success is crap. If you have run this thing 80 times with no recipe, something needs to be fixed.
