For what it's worth, kudos to the community here.
The way people came together tonight when 2 members of our community were apparently scammed for 44k gold coins each paying for BLT loot spots that were never delivered was inspiring.
I'm still holding out hope that it was a technical issue because hope springs eternal.
However, coins are hard to come by for some of us and it is not a good feeling when you get ripped off.
More than the loss of game resources is the loss of trust.
We are a community, for what it's worth and things that transpire in the game effect us. Some more than others.
So when the suggestion was made that we take up a collection to pay back the 44k gold coins to each of the 2 players, the community stepped right up.
Within about 10 minutes a bunch of you donated the coins we needed to replace those that were lost.
I feel really good about that, and I know from feedback at the time that a lot of you were also impressed by the generosity displayed.
This may be a game, but we are all still Human beings and can effect the lives of others here in our game community.
Scammers will scam and I doubt they feel good about themselves, but we were able to turn a negative into a positive through our actions and I think that deserves a mention.
