Using the info in settler wiki, these general can take 150 troop.
Nusala with 150 xbow can do about 12150 first strike damage.

I just roughly go though VLT and could as least find 6 camps that can be taken down without loss.
    (2nd camp in area 1, 2nd camp in area 2, 3rd camp in area 3, 1st 2nd 4th in area 4)

    save more then 1k recruit.

not sure if this is too powerful.....

Nusala does not enable xbow to do first strike damage.

The more MMA-esque generals I can get the better.

Thanks Alex and SweaterPuppies for all the info. Hope BB irons out any wrinkles on those generals and make them great and worth getting. Hype is high so gogo BB!

[11:50] aZr4el: not my fault that they carry lots of xp around and wont part with it unless you take it from their dead bodies

What is still unclear is their troop capacity. In the latest change log we are told the generals will be released sometime next week to play with. There is a rumor that their capacity is 150, not sure where that comes from. There is also speculation that these can only be used on the 1001 Nights adventures. Not sure where they got that information from either.
Likely from the german wiki, cAmou's info, god knows what kind of inside hacker he is, usually has the top tier accurate info, stuff he puts out is just about always going to live servers as they are with little to no changes, this time looks to be a bit different, but that also just "confirms" that the info prior was correct and we are already looking at Nualsa nerfs.
To add, these generals were listed with 150HP (moot), but they all did between 1500 - 3000 dmg, espicially Vargus and Nualsa were higher with along with a having 1st/splash/weakest combination. That kind of power is 3-4x that of a MMA, thus the assumption that they'd only be available for 1001+ would sound reasonable, 3k first strike/splash on old adventures will wreck havoc on many camps and still quite a few FT adventures.
150 units was also listed there, which would just instantly make you think of them as sac units, and then' you'd pick the one that is closest to the MMA, which was/is Nualsa, add in the ability to give Flanking, that's a versatile option _everywhere_ as opposed to just more specialised camps, such as boss camps for Anslem.

Obviously we need to wait for the final version of them and then give it another thought before making a desicion. Chances are at first glance it won't matter, at second glance you picked the proper one, at 3rd glance...in about 2+ years when BB has some crazy updated that breaks any conventional rule, we'll regret that desicion hehe

I truly hope that it is not the case that they can only be taken on 1001 Nights adventures. The very last thing I want is a restricted general. It is bad enough they rushed the new elite units out so that they cannot play well with others. Maintaining three armies is a pain. If you can only take them on the 1001 Nights adventures, for me at least, this new general would just sit clogging up my star menu 90% of the time depressing me like the marshals every time I scroll by. BB_Alex said that these three are to test the types of possible skills for the long awaited general skill trees. So unless adding a skill to one of the other generals removes its eligibility from using them in the old adventures, it makes little sense to limit this one. Also if they are indeed 150 unit capacity, that is dropping 120 possible units which should be punishment enough for the bonuses the general gives the units it can carry. Yeah they are still the most powerful generals out there, but when the skill tree hits they might lose their shine because of that cap.

Anywho, like you said. This is all speculation at this point and I should probably be concentrating more no pumpkins right now than content that cannot even be tested yet.
