+1 to upgradeable, but not a silly amount. I'd say maybe upgrades of 50 each might suit, so that at level 6 it'd be 800, or 2 at level 5 equate to the pop add from 3 stock.

It shouldn't float we already have floating ones, and floating something that size would be silly.

another possibility though is different shaped big residences, maybe a square one in 2x2 normal house block, so it replaces 4 nobles, or other shapes like a 4-in-a-line size or 4 in a diamond pattern. These would 500 cap, but would fit in different spaces and add variety.
