    Halloween event end time

    The in-game counter is currently showing about 4½ hrs to go, making the end time midnight UTC.

    However, by my calculation, that ain't the same as 2am EST. Which is right?

    The event can end before the maintenance is run, so I think the answer to your question is "both". The event ends at midnight UTC, and THEN there will be a maintenance run at 2am EST during which time the game is entirely unavailable.
