    [Event] Christmas Community Contest

    Christmas Community Contest
Time span: Friday, December 16th – Friday, December 30th

    Dear Settlers,

As announced here, feel free to share your contributions:

    • Write a Letter to BB_Santa
No matter whether you're on BB_Santa's nice or naughty list, for this year's Christmas you will get a chance to write him a letter and express your most ardent wish. The most convincing and original letters may find themselves rewarded.

    • Decorate your Christmas tree
You're not much of a wordsmith, but you sure know how to capture the festive mood of the winter season? Show us your Christmas Tree or your Christmas Tree TSO decorations and we'll make sure to put a spotlight on the best contributions.

Winning entries will be rewarded with the following rewards:

    Rank 1: 2,000 Gems
    Rank 2:
    1,000 Gems
    Rank 3:
    500 Gems

Every player can participate twice: one time per task.
Thus, every player has the chance of winning two times

For the complete details of the contest, read the event rules published in this thread.

    Dear Settler Santa,
For Christmas this year the crew of the excelsior would like a new anchor. After many adventures our anchor is becoming worn out. Flying in a airship brings with it some interesting docking procedures and our poor anchor has had a rough time of it. Docking to everything from water, to houses, to mountain tops, sure puts the wear on what was designed to be a boat anchor that only sees the bottom of a body of water. If you can manage we would love to get a new one Santa.
    Thanks!

Up on the housetop, click, click, click
Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick

Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go?

Next comes the stocking of TinyJohn
Filled with hope from years bygone
Give him a general that preens and struts
For one more round with pipes and drums.

Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go?

This is the first year that I didn't decorate the tree. My spouse did it one night while I was out. Awesome job, Sweetie and thanks.

    Dear Mr. Claus,

As your records no doubt reflect, I am blessed with eight delightful children, one adopted. None of them write, so I send you their requests for them. I am certain the below items would bring them joy long past December. Hopefully you can fulfill their innocent dreams.

Billy (infant) a rattle. Also, 4 shillings of iron ore.

Sally (age 2) a rag doll. Also, 16 shillings of iron ore.

Debra (age 6) a wooden dollhouse. Also, 2 ounces of iron ore.

Our niece Shelly whose parents sadly died in the plague two years ago, who has lived with us ever since (age 10) a set of tops. Also, 5 ounces of iron ore.

Hoover (age 5) a hobby horse with a scopperel. Also, 3 marks of iron ore.

Carl (age 7) fighting knight puppets. Also, 5 pounds of iron ore.

Dennis (age 12) lead alloy military figurines. Also, 14 stone of iron ore.

Buster (age 15) a rolling hoop. Also, 4 tons of iron ore.

    Sincerely,

    Butch Kensington

    FAMILY ROOM CHRISTMAS TREE

The Second one is our Memory Tree in the Living Room. It is decorated with keepsake ornaments from over 80 years of family Christmas trees. My Parents, my husband's Parents, my Grandmother, my Aunt. And we have been married 50 years; so my husband and I have added to the Memory Tree

    Dear Settler Santa,

A year has passed and can think, although higher and I no longer believe in you. I say somehow not only to question your shift and-n me this year! Do not think you are "too big" ...
But wait, as I want to tell you something: as long as you have someone to share gifts, smiles, hugs and emotions holidays know that you believe in yourself! Because these smiles, hugs and gifts (modest these days) shared with my loved ones on Christmas Eve ... are actually all I ever wanted from you ...
I do not want many things from you Dude ... I want to see smiles on the faces of loved ones. And so I know that you exist!
For me personally I do not want a lot ... and what I want, I can not.
Maybe I wanted to appreciate some more things, places, people, feelings that now they can not live.
I want to be a kid again! I want to take care of a child, not those of an adult. I enjoy my life as a child, not an adult ... I want to dream like a child, not an adult.
I want to write you a letter child, not an adult ...
    I wait, Dude!
