1 Agnate Irma's repast = Aunt Irma's Feast (easy peasy)
    2. Philtre an old word for a potion, usually a love potion
    3. Stock dwelling stock can mean either standard (ie regular or normal) or a shortened word for livestock. So it's either a stable or a normal residence.
    4. Detractor cantonment Seems like an enemy sector.
    5. Palatial mansion palatial means large, so this could refer to either a noble or magnificent residence.
    6. Palimpsest - manuscript
    7. Spunky hiker the Intrepid Explorer, whom I've nicknamed Amelia for Amelia Earhart.
    8. Superannuated marauders retired bandits (pretty straight forward)
    9. Cloister is a residence for monastics, or a Friary
    10. Congenial Ossuary Today congenial means kind, or nice. An Ossuary is definitely a place to store bones. I'm not sure if this refers to the decorative graveyard or the Bone Church.

1 Rufresent volitant habitant I thought this one was the most difficult. Habitant = someone who dwells in, ie inhabitant; volitant seems like a form of the French Voleur, which is to fly or run fast, or is it to steal? But I have no idea what rufresent means. Refresh? I'm guessing a flying settler > red flying settler, but it's just a guess.
    2. Contrivance lube: lube = oil, and contrivance is an old word for machine, so machine oil (buff)?
    3. Aureate Subterrestrial Lode Aureate = gold, Subterrestrial = underground, Lode is... A vein of metal, a mining term a la Mother Lode. So in total it's got to be a gold mine.
    4. Bureaucrats Domicile= mayor's house.

This was fun - thank you! Happy Thesaurus day to all.

    2. Philtre = Filter
    3. Stock dwelling = Pup Tent
    4. Detractor cantonment = A barn house ("The tractor containment...")
    5. Palatial mansion = Prison aka "The Big House"
    6. Palimpsest = The floppiest friend ("Pal Limpsiest")
    7. Spunky hiker = Dora the Explorer
    8. Superannuated marauders = Pirates with extra apostrophes '''''
    9. Cloister = Shellder's Pokévolution
    10. Congenial Ossuary = A bird with a cold

(I know, I know... but everyone's already answered these... Time to laugh...)
