    PVP Interception Problem

I had an unexpected interception today on a small colony. I intended to block camp 3 in the screenshot, but got intercepted by camp 4 in the adjacent sector. That even though the marshal enters the red square of camp 3 first. The marshal crosses into the sector of camp 4 for one flag, and I suspect that causes the interception.

Hmmmm hard to tell in this scenario, even more so since I'm not sure what the actual interception rule is anymore on Expeditions, at one time they would intercept no matter what, then the change came around so camps from other sectors wouldn't intercept cross-sector, which was mostly aimed at regular adventures and kind of applied to Expeditions, but I had a similar problem to yours way back and did get cross-sector intercepted again, so unsure what exactly the deal with it is nowadays, that is, besides assuming what's been true and guesstimating it to still be true lol

From what we are seeing and from what happened, the sector you are walking on is the dominant factor and changes as the situation applies, making the aggro zones 2nd priority. Though thinking back to running ToK, we also get an intercept as we circle up the hill but get re-intercepted by our intended target as our sector changes "back to normal".

So it appears to be working as intended just like it's with adventures. Then again it shows that you need to be skeptical of the intercept number regardless, it's been wrong several times already and shows that the proper calculation isn't done when planning but after sending, which in this case nailed you. Should've sent to leader to get intercepted by camp 3 instead ;p

Do Marshalls still jump 3 flags when being intercepted? lol

It looks like camp 4 is closer than camp 3. This is not an exclusive problem to PVP. There are some regular adventures like this where the camps are not numbered in the proper attack order.
    One army. Pretty please.

I've always thought the rule was you can't get intercepted once you're inside the red square of the camp you are attacking. But not in this case obviously. To be honest, I didn't even realize I crossed over into the other sector when I sent the attack. What fooled me was that the numbering was wrong.

And yes, the generals still jump when they get intercepted, but it depends on the camp. Sometimes not at all, sometimes several flags.

It looks like if you were attacking the camp just east of your X mark, the camp in the adjoining sector would intercept you first.

From the looks of the screenshot, its taking into consideration that you would be intercepted by the 1st camp, then the 2nd and then onto the 3rd camp.
If those first 2 camps weren't there or they were being blocked, the 4th camps aggro-zone may be the first you would walk into instead of the 3rd camp.

Nah, as far as aggro zones go, he definately enters camp 3 first, which would be the tree adjacent to the stump and walks 2 more flags in said territory, which should lock him to that camp due to having entered the aggro zone. The issue comes when he crosses the sector (2 flags away from the stump) and the system recalculates "having left the sector for another one" and then the intercept from camp 4 happens, despite having been in camp 3's aggro zone for 3 flags already. The intercept also arrows the general to camp 4 and then around it, meaning he wouldn't have left said sector again (which would then have triggered camp 3 to re-intercept lol).

Aggro zones within the same sector > first entered aggro zone takes precedence (if perfectly overlapping, choice is yours)
Aggro zones in seperate sectors > whichever sector makes the general move to either camp without leaving the sector again takes precedence
