Lost nearly 600 Crossbowmen

Somehow I've lost 600 crossbowmen. they got lost in the return home from mission which coincided during the time that the game went down for maintenance.

Sounds like you need to submit a ticket in to the developers. You can do that on the game's homepage.

I had an issue with vanishing/reappearing troops last year. They would mysteriously vanish en route home from an adventure and then just show up 1-2 days later after I'd rebuilt my army. Was never as crippling as 600 xbow at once, though.

Haven't seen this occur in at least 6 months though. I do hope your experience is just a one-off and not a precursor to more of that.
