    Gen Skill Tree

I got to say, the Gen skill Tree is a home run. It is exciting, challenging and a whole lot of fun. I have all my champs upgraded including the mas. its fun seeing them excel in the attacks and do more than many guides are calculating. i used to be disappointed with the losses from the first strikers in 1k1 and the ventures. no more. they are a breeze with vargus and the ma sac team. Anyway, i was just reflecting on the work to upgrade over the last month or so, dont remember when the gen skill tree came out... but now that it is in place i am very pleased. Great job to the developers and hope you all are having fun with it too.

    Hi Focusdonhim!

Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions of this new feature. It has certainly been a long road getting the General Skill Tree to its current state, and we hope all our users are having as much fun exploring this content as our team had during its development stages.

    See you in-game,

Let me start by saying, I absolutely agree, this new feature is an absolute home run and the potential of great savings in loss of troops and increased speeds (which travel speeds in advs have ALWAYS been a source of many of my complaints over he last 6 years) is immensely embraced (long time overdue lol)

Now, I have to include this: there is a serious oversight in the aspect of implanting the skills in the skill tree. I don't know about a lot of the other players that have been around for as long as I have been, but over the years, before the implementation of this new feature, I have accumulated 7 MMA's, 2 MG's, 6 tav's, 3 Champs, 6 BHG's, 6 Reapers, 3 Dracs, 3 MoD's and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head that I have to now skill up over and above the 29 explorers and 17 Geos I have already been building skill trees on. I think it would have been nice (at least for us long time players) to have had a leg up in attaining at least some of the manu's, tomes, codex's to give us a little bit of a hand to get some skills up, even in a gift mail or one of those coupon codes or something.

That is pretty much my only real complaint about the feature is being so entirely overwhelmed with trying to get even the basic skills up on so many things that required it. The Specialists were easier to build up because we got to build them up AS we gained them over time, but not the case now lol. I do think this is a matter worth mentioning though

On a different subject, very quickly, where is the place in the forum or wherever that we go to in order to ask the questions that have been getting answered on the AMA board?

I'm afraid you have missed the boat for that, the thread to post questions to was only open for a short period some months ago.

A bunch of questions have been answered though, and they will likely answer more in the coming weeks. You may have had your questions answered already.

It takes a long time, but manuscript recipe makes it manageable, once you eventually get it. I have all my generals skilled, without skimping on their skills (I even gave my taverns 21 books). Now working on 3 more geologists. Then I'll go back and fix about a dozen explorers that I had previously skilled but am no longer satisfied with, which before I would have just said forget it. Hoping to have that done in time for the Easter event. All told, it would be just shy of a year. A lengthy process, sure, but well worth it for all the benefits. Then I'll be back to sitting on too many books and just waiting for the next specialists to show up.

Well, the last "batch" was like a week ago, so does a new thread get opened up every couple weeks or something? I noticed that every new batch of answers is roughly every couple weeks with the last being a week ago and if so, then a new one should be opened for us to ask questions so they can post their answers in another week or so unless they only have like 1 day where we can ask questions and they waste it in quite a few by responding to some seriously ridiculous questions when serious questions are being overlooked

I have read the entire AMA postings and not every question has been answered and there should be a place for us to continue asking questions for them to look over and respond to

yeah, I am kinda in the same boat (not sure how many gens, expl's, geos, specialists you have), but as I am only turning lvl 53 today (in about 2 hours roughly) I haven't got the recipe for manu's yet and like 100 skill tree characters to tend to, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable for a little help from BB to get a tiny boost at least lol

I had like 120 manu's and like 30 or so tomes built up (without even realizing it until the beginning of Halloween) but that barely made a dent in the basic skills of the gens and only on a certain number of them (like not even half lol)

Even a free day of re-skilling, where we can use the 1 day or so (even just a 1-time free reclaim per specialist/geo/gen/exp) to reclaim manu's/tomes/codex from the characters to redo the skills of them all, even that alone would make a massive difference and help out quite a bit

They only asked for questions once, they are still working through the answers to those questions (still waiting for the answer to my question).
