    BookBinder queue

Bookbinder buffs are totally wasted unless you are able to play for the 24 hr or 36 hr buff time.
We need a queue in the bookbinder!

Ceruhe's right, Alex has said it's never gonna happen. I think BB's answer to a bookbinder queue was the recipes for the RPH.

A very poor answer. You have to be both high level and incredibly lucky.

    Hi all,

Since this has been denied already, what are others ways to help with not forcing someone to be active all the time. Maybe not a queue, but a different method to help make the buff become useful again to those that can't be on all the time?

Even just 1 book in a queue would be a huge help, but if I couldn't make at least 3 books a day, I'm not sure I would bother with glue or resin. I'd just make small glues instead anytime I wanted to make a codex, although the bottleneck with that solution potentially is running out of bronze cauldrons.

As Gwalben posted, the only bookbinder buff I ever use is small glue when making codexes. I have other bookbinder buffs in my star, and I never use them because they're useless to me without a queue. There's no point in a buff that requires me to be online around the clock. What's the objection to having a queue in the bookbinder? Even if it's a limited queue, maximum of 2 or 3 books total - at least it would make those buffs useful.

Here is what I do in an effort to not waste (normally) the Hide Glue (24h) and Wilderwood Resin (36h) buffs on your Bookbinder:

Use the friendly local RPH buff (Small Glue; +20% for 12h) to cover areas of time that either are uncertain I can get back on time or where I only need to take the 'edge' off. These buffs are cheap enough and if/when I get back on and a priority comes up, I have no problem Stop Buffing it and applying a Hide Glue or Wilderwood Resin.

with the ability to make manuscripts in RPH, you can continuously make Tomes (1 per day) while RPH is making manu's, even without using Bara on your RPH, however if you decide to make 2 Tomes per day, then it gets a little hairy without Bara on your RPH. Now, even without a que in the binder and while only making 1 Tome per day, you are still building your books quite quickly, a lot faster than the old method without Recipes in your RPH.

Now, I only use the Manu recipe in my RPH and in-between Manu creations, I throw in a days worth of production on steaks, kitties, traps, etc so I don't run out of those. Yes, book production isn't as fast and efficient as many of us would like, but if you coordinate your productions and have just a little bit of patience, you can build up quite a nice collection of books for your specialists and generals. It is still going to take some time to build up all the books your need (specially if you already have a mass number of specialists and gens to skill up), but this game is not designed for fast results, this is a slow paced game and designed to keep you active with tasks and goals rather than allowing you to do everything all at once and then get completely bored with the game because you have nothing left to do.
