Are there enough soccer balls circulating?

When these events come up, I've always tended to get most of my event currency by trading in the trade office. But this is the first time I've felt like I probably won't be able to get more than one or two items. It just seems like there isn't much of the currency available, and a few high level players are able to control the whole market. I don't know. It's just the first event where I'm getting discouraged by the whole thing. What do you think?

Happens with an ever declining active player pool. This event I need to wing it with explorers alone because I just can't be bothered to spend time adventuring just like many others.
Add in the insane cost for, example, the SnackStand with terifyingly bad results to actually make use of it and then it will just waste precious space for something else. Getting multiple copies of fairly inefficient event buildings instead of making them upgradable instead, really sucks the motivation right out of me.
Can't see the benefit for new players here at all as upfront cost is massive (you could pretty much get Explorer and Geos instead for better value), the thing will be mostly idle for 1 single buff. Not saying dropping 21 books for an explorer is necessarily cheap either but certainly will run a net profit much faster. Older players with a ton of explorers doing a dozen explorers on Artifact search are swimming in buffs already anyway.

And then trading seems to get discouraged unless you are a billionaire who doesn't care anymore....dunno why there always must be this one sided collectible stuff, you end up with tons of some, scratching the bottom of the barrel with others and it's across the board for every player. Just don't know, just like everybody else, why I already have thousands of grass/pads/studs/helmets/grease but getting 20 banana peels takes me 2 days Oo

But I'm rich, I don't need to worry, can't be much concerned with the achievements either (that's an entire rant for itself)....I'm not gonna lose out unless I actively stay away.
The only thing I'm surprised at, unless I missed it, was there not being a hotfix the day after it started.

I think there are enough as a higher level player, but enough meaning I will get what I want and then have a little bit left to spare toward the end of the event. Specialists are the real prize here. Snack stand is way too overpriced for what it does. The cheap one in quests is worth chasing, but I made the shop one my last priority.

Agreed. the snack stand for balls is a major lame sauce. but the reward for the quests is a nice gimme. As far as event "circulation" there are plenty of balls but not like other events. if you work at it you can get a few items and that is a nice reward. the stoner is awesome for hunting granite if your at that level. it is also nice for marble the big need in the middle levels. I alos am wild over the footies. the middle buff "strength treaing" is a big boost for no real effort.
Anyway, this is not the big one, like Easter, but its a nice little event if you don't put too much demand on it.

I suppose there are sufficient as a better degree player, however sufficient which means I gets what I need after which have a bit bit left to spare in the direction of the stop of the event. Specialists are the actual prize here. Snack stand is manner too overpriced for what it does. The reasonably-priced one in quests is really well worth chasing, however I made the store one my closing priority to choose the best soccer balls for juggling.
