Saving those level 6 mines and masons...

Raising a mine or mason to level 6 takes a lot of money and time, and it stinks to have the deposit run out before you know it and have the whole thing collapse, so that you have to start over. My idea is that level 6 mines and masons have an auto-shutoff feature that kicks in when the deposit is down to, say, 10. It turns off the mine or mason before it can collapse, and sends you a notification prompting you to buy some refills for the deposit to prevent collapse. Players will enjoy no longer having those annoying and expensive collapses, and BB may see this as an attractive feature because it prompts people to buy refills.

This is a good idea, but I could then see people wanting this for all mines.

But then our geologists would be unemployed! They're going to unionize now, I just know it.

This is also true. It would mean that special Geologists would become useless.

Well Goes are pretty much useless anyway. They dont do nothing til mines collapse. The biggest issue with mines is upgrade time. If each upgrade level only takes 10s then its not as bad. Also geos could have an option to Refill a random mine. Just give it some downsides like 2 time slower than looking for deposit and refills only half as much as a brand new deposit. Natures Gift would then have to be reworked to be an upgrade of the refill amount.
