    Be Late For Something Day

    Dear settlers,

Have you ever been late to work because of The Settlers Online? Or have you ever sent your general to an adventure where you were invited, but went AFK for a snack just to come back and realize the host decided to end the adventure without you because you were... too late?

That's OK, we've all been there.

Celebrate Be Late For Something Day with the Community and share a memory where you were late in real life because of the game or vice versa, let us know if - for you - The Settlers Online is a game where you have to count every minute and be incredibly punctual to reach success, or if it's alright to let things slide and not be on time.

Happy settling and take it easy!

I might have shown up about 10 minutes late to the airport because I was waiting for a block to finish. I didn't miss my flight but I did have to carry on what I was planning on checking! So some non carry on items had to be left in the car...

"a day late and a dollar short" Loss of Internet connection or Flash Player Game bugs/glitches has often caused adventure team epic fails over the years.

Forgiving these epic fails, I guess our lives are that boring as we forgive and keep playing TSO. Whats the purpose of this forum? Oh wait, your trying to say you are sorry to us all and give us 1000 gems? Everyone check your mail for 1000 gems?

I sometimes show up 5 minutes before the guild quest resets to finish it, but in all fairness, I remember a few times when BB was late with the finish time of maintenance or loading a new event.

Well, I haven't been late to work or anything like that, but, I've been so engrossed in an adventure that I have FORGOTTEN to make dinner entirely! My poor husband was starving by the time I realized it was well past the time we should have ate (Like an hour later).. I managed to throw something together quickly to eat

You guys should have done this on the 6th. That way when somebody called you on it and that "Be Late For Something Day" was supposed to be the 5th, you could reply with, "Oops... Guess we were late!"
