Can't buff unbuffed buildings

Since I last posted they have added a couple more glitches.
But the buff glitch has a work-around. If you pick up a different buff, then put it down and pick up the original buff, the unbuffed buildings at least will light uinstead of staying dark or having the tiny hot spot.

I know that one and it is not good enough as it involves waiting around for a significant chunk of my buildings buffs to run out before swapping so that I can buff them properly, and then repeating that multiple times until the whole island is complete. That just forces my buff timing back a lot each time until I have to stop buff the whole island to preventing it from happening too late.

It isn't like I am expecting them to drop everything and 'fix it now!'. I mainly just want to know they are actually aware that it exists and are working towards it, as their is no response from BB anywhere in this thread.

Is there any intention of fixing this, or is this just another thing we have to live with?
