What a horrible event.
Quality: terrible.
Lag: Horrendous.
Buildings: Meh at best.
Why on earth would you make this event instead of fixing the main game? There are so many easy, cheap fixes that could make the game so much better but you decided to ruin it with this instead? I'm even more appalled than usual.
Each event qualifies it as the current worst event. Gone are the days of events for players to enjoy, here are the days of events for BB to bilk people out of gems. It's clear with the order of quests that you are outright trying to get gems and nothing more, when you have a quest to produce 300 flowers so many days after players placed their farms. You started this trend when you took away all event currency after an event ended, and you've gone harder down this road ever since. The only thing keeping this game, in its current state, from being pay to win is that a majority of the rewards from events are stupid, broken, worthless, or a combination of those 3. I'm pretty disappointing with you, BB. You went from a tiny company on the verge of no longer existing to a group of greedy people who don't care if your players have fun or not. That's just sad.
Maybe you should drive another nail in the coffin and introduce loot boxes. Oh, wait...
I just lost 775 flowers (on a posted trade for an IMP deerstalker). The 2nd time this has happened this event. The first time was only 150 but when, I place trades in the TO, sometimes they don't go through (even though it says you posted something) and when, I refresh, the trade doesn't exist AND the resources are gone. look...Generally, I am pretty tolerant with these things but...the past 2 months? Have been HORRIBLE with bugs and lag. Please....fix some of this. This is getting annoying. Not even asking for the damned flowers back. Just get everything in order. You are adding so much crap that does extraordinary things, it is making the game behave in un foreseen ways. Seriously. Please fix this crap.
P.S. What is your hard on with co-ops? Seriously....why are you attempting to force a feature that so many hate? it is annoying...this game seems to be taking a nose dive....
we reported this in test.. a lot of times.. and yet .. its live.. and still NO REwards???
Not to mention trying to find a place on the home island area that will hold 20 res around this thing .. what with trees and rocks and...
and the description of it is still vague too!

You didn't lose anything. The trade is still in TO (which is why the resources are gone), it just doesn't show on your end because it was interrupted by a lag hiccup. If you ask trade chat to check if it if there they would be able to see it. Also, if no one buys it within 6 hours your resources will be returned to you. You are correct. I stand corrected about the trade coming back. That was a first time after multiple refreshes that it has never showed up. My comments about the game still stand though. The past couple of months have been pretty bad.
Seems this Event is geared toward those who have a lot of free time to play during the course of a day. There is no way average player who only has 2-3 hrs a day can be productive enough to get more than one or two Event items. Needed more/better ways to get flowers other than having to purchase them with gems. imho

I am confused how to refill depleted Flower Farms, too. Even BB admits it's a bad deal to buy fertilizer (75 flowers for +10 flowers) from Merchant. I lose 65 flowers on that deal. Stoopid! So the Flower Farms are "one and done" for me. I learned you cannot repurchase Flower Farms, even if you delete depleted ones, when I played this event on Test Server. I was hoping that would change in the live event so I could keep purchasing farms, like pumpkin patches. Alas, no.
Maybe I'm not spending enough time networking with gamers to have a big group of friends in the game. The people I'm connected with are too low level to join me in co-ops or are lapsed players. The only way for me to participate in this event is sending my Explorers out 1-2 times/day, which isn't a high production channel.
The quests are huge resource drains. Recovering from creating Cards is too long when I only have 1-2 hours/day to log on and play.
This event has too many limitations for me to enjoy it. As many other posts have expressed, it feels like the priority is to make people use gems. Hopefully the 2020 version will show some love and make this more inclusive.
ok, so what about the cards and boxes, do they disappear after deactivation or removal?
