    Just wonderful.
    Normally, explorers sent out before the event starts that return after it starts include event items. So players (myself included) send out their explorers just before start time.
    But this time, explorers sent out in advance did NOT bring back any event stuff (flowers). I have a candid explorer I sent out on prolonged search 4 hours before event started. Now it means he will be searching for almost 3 DAYS before returning... with nothing. 3 days of a 10 day event wasted because there is either a screw-up or an unannounced change. My savages will be wasting more than 1 day.
    Just freaking wonderful.

    And these oh-so-helpful pictures of where the Love Garden affects buildings.

    Let's see.
    Haunted mansion: 3x3 picture. When I place it on my island, it takes a 2x2 space.
    Gingerbread house: 3x3 picture. When I place it on my island, it takes a 2x2 space.
    Magnificent residence: 7 wide, 5 deep in the picture, with the middle square being the relevant one. When I place it on my island, it's 6 wide and 4 deep. Just how am I supposed to know which one is the "middle square" of a 6 wide building?
    Arabian Palace: Not in this picture. Or any of the other pictures. Love Garden has no effect? Just... guess?

    I am so NOT impressed!!!

    I really see little possibility of getting even half of the stuff available this time. Usually I run out of things to get like a week before the event ends. I guess I can hope for the 2 specialists.

    This one is ranking down there with the Black Knights one.

    Several hours in and all we have is confusion. We need the Devs to stop playing in God Mode and try to sort things out as 'players', not as people who roll into an Event with a cheat sheet that lets them figure everything out ahead of time.

    Pretty much nothing makes sense for a 10-day Event.

    so my 1st batch of explorer did not have flowers.. my others (also sent out b4 event) did... it's odd..

    Ugh. More depos instead of flowers, and none available in collectibles. I don't see me being able to get much out of this event. The depos rather than event resources is really killing events.

    I keep trying to find a reason to stay with this game, and events like this just make it harder and harder.
    Weeklys have all but sapped any motivation, and I'm seriously considering just shutting down all my buildings and taking a long vacation. NOTHING about the last two additions to the game have done anything to improve the gameplay or appeal.
    Weekly challenges are a joke in our guild, and a 9 day event with only coops dropping useful loot? Seriously? Did you learn NOTHING from the dissatisfaction around whirlwind and high cost adventures for the weeklys?

    WHY, WHY would you have an event quest that requires you to buff (valentine cards) flower farms so late in the overall quest, all farms are already depleted (or even in some cases DELETED)...Bad form. I've been playing this game for a very long time and this is the first time in 6 years I've had to say something about how BADLY an event was implemented. I understand rocky starts and I understand that the flower farms can be fertilized... one would have needed to know to not delete their farms because of an upcoming quest before removing. The cost of the refill is ridiculous. I have always found BB to be fare in the past (you would get positive returns for completing quest) but lately BB has been getting greedy just like in this case I'm disappointed, the price of the refill is too much and there is no point in attempting to finish the event quest. Hope to see some well thought out events in the future and not see this kind of blunder again (this is the sort of event that discourages people and makes them want to leave for good).

    the valentine card buff does not seem to increase the loot for every drop, and it is not clear if the buff has to be active before the adv starts or not. Several players have reported they did not get increased refills in loot with active buff. Is this a bug or a feature?

    Its definitely a bug. Most players are getting the double loot double refills. Yesterday i got no doubles. Today the same 3 people playing same coops...two got double on first adv while one did not. Second coop same people no one got double.

    Since its not affecting everyone, support has been unable to verify it as a bug....according to a bb. So those of us who are affected are just out of luck. And its the weekend so nothing will be done.

    That is why events don't start on a Thursday. With events that start on a Tuesday, you have all week to fix the inevitable bugs.
