    I think the work part comes from this model of first trying to get refills, and then adding those refills to farms, and then trying to keep those farms buffed...
    This model, in my opinion is the worst, and should be removed.. I for one, do not care for refills.. and get my event resources through other means, especially trade..

    the event rewards were rpomising.. if not for the fact i got nothing becuase when i tought the last day of event was over i bought stuff with what i had ( explorer geologist and love garden) then found otu we still had a week extra to collect and now i got nothing otu of that

    and also make event resourcesu ntradeable please.. there lots of peopel selling event resources for scam prices

    the concept of refills is too difficult for players who do not have a lot of time to devote to the game. Fortunately, I am retired, so I could devote a lot of time and even then I barely managed to keep the farms working (a number of times I slept them because I was concerned they would run dry overnight - so even then they weren't running 100%). This time last year, I was employed - and the event would have been a bust for me because I would not have been able to play enough to keep the farms going...... I don't know how you can provide balance, but you need to keep in mind that not all players devote their life to playing TSO.....

    As for the bugs...... and when they will be fixed..... i.e. Observatory.....

    And nobody knowing what the buildings do i.e. Weather station....... I may never know.... the building may sit there looking pretty and remain unused.....

    This event was a good idea... unfortunately very poorly managed.

    Using refills system when so many players complained about it, this time with a 20 min cycle (way more faster then Halloween), was a bad move, considering we could only get refills from adventures loot... It was manageable only if the player would know what adv to run and how to do it, but no one bothered to explain the event mechanics and a lot of casual players didn't get it until it was too late.

    The event was way too bugged to be enjoyable. The darn v-cards were stopping working all the time affecting the loot and of course the refills drops... I think the idea of getting double loot this way was brilliant, but it didn't work... it only frustrate everyone.

    The buildings are quite useless...

    Love Garden is boosting the population production and give some very sad rewards from some very boring quests. And i doubt BB will ever change them.
    Observatory is bugged as it was on test, tho, if they ever fix it it may be useful for xp grind when used with Scouting Post...
    Weather Station is like Mad Scientist general... no one knows how to use it to get some advantage from it but everyone bought it just in case someone else will figure it out. After simming a few adventures i decided to keep it just like a decoration. A very expensive and very cool looking deco, but still useless.

    The specialists...meh

    The lovely explorer is the first explorers specialized on getting event items, useless outside the event times.
    The charming geologist is the only geo who is finding faster iron, salt and titanium deposits, ok, but since we can't learn if he really find one of those his usefulness is quite limited.

    So, basically, nothing really worth the effort to get it. And of course most of the players bought them, just in case they would find something to do with them later...

    The big problem was the time, tho... Too many stuff to buy in such a short time period.
    Personally i have time, and i'm quite good on hunting xp/res when necessarily... or finding any loopholes in the system, so, i enjoyed the first 4-5 days while exploring the possibilities. After the novelty was wearing off the event become boring. At the end i didn't bothered with the v-cards, i kept the farms buffed with machine oil and get the normal loot from adv.

    PS: I think the double xp was a bug, not something intended. Quite nice to get it from big elite adventures, tho...

    Once Again, I am impressed by this game. It is a challenge after 5 years of playing. Continues to engage. In short, your design is terrific. The latest additions to the game. the "Charming Geo" is, IMO, the best part of the Val event. For reasons i wont go into, it fits a strategy that is has been neglected til now. The buildings were all good in one way or another. Not game changing, of course, but still nice. even the graphics for the event were awesome. i would like a buff with showering hearts to be available for nothing else than a simple howdy to my friends.
    Lastly, i wanted to encourage the develpers. You are doing a great job with this old but true horse. Shes showing some of her age vs the new stuff on the market, but nothing compares to her subtlety, her nuances, her challenges. Great job. Thank you for your work.

    I was happy for the refills instead of flower drops from events. The love crazed buff was very helpful, but wouldn't have been if I'd just used up all my farms from the start.

    I only got the Explorer and the Geo. I didn't think anything else was worth buying.

    A building which speeds up general travel time (but also have to buy the star charts on top of the building). I am more of a casual player. I tend to start an adventure, send my generals, and check back some time later (At the time of this posting, I realized I started a Wood Cutter 3 days ago, sent my generals, but never started any attacks..).

    A building which does area buffs. I find that these buildings would take a LOT of work moving buildings around for, and the result is nowhere worth it. I just use the regular buffs and call it good enough. Inspirational Speech which does an area buff, or building(s) that do an area buff such as xmas market or Love Garden, I find to just be a waste of my time or effort, and the result isn't that good.. especially when it takes other resources to do these buffs each time, with a long cool down time.

    A building which affects combat, for both player and enemy. As I stated above, I am more of a casual player, and I follow guides. Having this building would make me take more losses in combat in the long run, if I were to follow guides. So no thank you.

    Deco ... No thanks. I either ignore it as it sits in my star menu, or I give it away to a guild member.

    If it weren't for the massive problems of the event, I wouldn't have gotten a 2nd Geo or 2nd Explorer.

    All in all, event was underwhelming.

    Nice event but timing is harsh. Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's and Easter Back to back and then nothing until Halloween again except when World Cup is in play. Valentine might have been better suited for a summer type of event.

    As with most the explorer and geo are good. Having more of those is fun.

    Buildings are all so bugged out I think I am playing Bug's Life. :-) For the most part got them because they are new. Love Garden is/was not worth the investment. Observatory and Weather Station have potential to be useful, but the code needs to be reviewed to see where the downfall is at.

    Did not realize that you needed to have the V-Cards and Bouquets active to get the extra boost on loot until a day later. Also the explorers did return with flowers upon sending them on before the event expired. That is not cool since the events allow that to occur.

    Glad for the new event and hopefully everything will work out.

    you can buff up to 24 with one. basic buff activates at 15 and quests at 20.

    Love Garden quest line is a waste of time due to NO EXPLANATION of how to use the building. I have 2 of these "Love Garden" buildings & still have not been able to complete the "A Place Of Relaxation" quest in my quest book. Weather Control Station is a waste of resources to get as it boosts both yours & enemy power so is foolish to use. A person would be more intelligent to just use books, tomes, & codex to increase their generals abilities. The ability of not being able to trade the "valentine cards" caused them to be almost useless. Due to people being on at different times made it even more difficult to get the correct cards applied. The only way to solve the issue was to use "Stop Buffs" to allow more to be applied which wasted the previous cards applied. And the time it took to make them was ridiculous. The flower cost to make bouquets was also too high. I made just enough to get event achievement & then made no more as I used the flowers to get other much needed & wanted event items.
