This event has been frustrating to say the least. I write this after much thought and deliberation. This is not a knee-jerk reaction that many players in this thread have had. Overall, (had the event run as intended) I liked the event and some of the new features/systems.
Pros:
Co-ops and 2-3 player adv supplied farm refills, with co-ops being substantially more. I like when the game forces us to play together.
Love-Crazed buff - the idea of a buff being able to drastically affect other buffs was a nice edition. i hope to see similar buffs in the future
Multiple buffs triggering a secondary buff - IE: Valentine zone-wide buff which doubles loot - also a nice idea. required some thought and planning
Cons:
Multiple buffs triggering a secondary buff - IE: Valentine zone-wide buff which doubles loot - this maybe worked 1/2 the time. i would have this buff running when an adv started and ended but still did not receive the double loot.
Observatory - Says it reduces travel time by XX%. when i used the "Detailed star chart" my gens showed around 2-3 minutes of travel to an adv, but still took the 8-9.
Observatory - didn't seem to make general walk any faster. seemed to create extra lag.
Observatory - Also when this buff was active, one of the co-op players experienced his generals constantly re-landing in a loop. i haven't seen this bug for years.
Explorers - i sent out all my explorers on searches before the event ended. when they came back during the removal phase, all 8 luckys brought back flowers (although some guildmates say theirs didn't), but my 20+ Savage, Courageous, Intrepid, etc did not bring back any. still waiting on the tavern expl and Candid, but I'm not hopeful.
Charming Geo - Hard to tell when he's finding a faster deposit because the skill is lumped in with his bigger deposit skill.
In the end, I now think you've more than made up for the mis-steps with the gifts that were given. Based on past events and game issues, I kind of expected to see 100 flowers, a few crystals and a premium day. But what you sent far exceeded that expectation.
Thank you, and looking forward to Easter.
