    Extraterrestrial Towel Day

    To all towel-loving adventurers,
Let's celebrate the extraterrestrial Towel Day together today and if you haven't done already, we would advise you to read some good books from Douglas Adams.

    • Share the most beautiful island screenshots with us, which will calm visitors and avoid panic.
    • Share a bad poetry post about the Extraterrestrial Towel Day
    • Explain why dolphins are so smart
    • What would be the best look for a towel to be noticed? Draw a TSO themed pattern and share it with the community.

Happy settling and always keep a towel close,

    The best of Vogon poetry

    Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me, (with big yawning)
As plurdled gabbleblotchits, in midsummer morning
    On a lurgid bee,
    That mordiously hath blurted out,
    Its earted jurtles, grumbling
Into a rancid festering confectious organ squealer. [drowned out by moaning and screaming]
    Now the jurpling slayjid agrocrustles,
Are slurping hagrilly up the axlegrurts,
And living glupules frart and stipulate,
    Like jowling meated liverslime,
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes,
    And hooptiously drangle me,
    With crinkly bindlewurdles,mashurbitries.
Or else I shall rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon,
    See if I don't!

    A Bottle and a Towel

There's nane that's blest of human kind,
But the cheerful and the dry, man,
    Fal, la, la, &c.

    Here's a bottle and a folded towel!
What wad ye wish for mair, man?
Wha kens, before his life may end,
What his share may be a dry one?

Then catch the spirits as they fly,
And sip them as ye ought, man:
    Believe me, happiness is shy,
And comes not dry when sought, man.

    — with apologies to Robert Burns
