Settlers - What's Next? Long Thoughts.

So, I kind of think the science/bookbinder production issues are in better shape now. We have a lot of sources for books...

Noble Bookbinder Tributes (2 manus per week, buffable)
Bookbinder with it's lack of queue, but still you can make one book per day without stress.
RPH (needs recipes, but once you get the manu one life gets pretty easy)
New Adventure Bookbinder (load the thing with Codex... no need to make a slew of lower books per Codex, just let this thing pump a Codex every four days and use the other buildings for Manus and Tomes)
Occasional other sources (Pathfinder, that one explorer, xmas tree, Split City, etc).

Given that this has been the #1 whine recently from all of us who keep adding new specialists each event, I think we're in way better shape than a bit ago.

So my question to those of you still wandering the forums, what do you want to see next?
    My suggestions:
    - Level cap to 100. Make each level the same as 74 to 75, no need to scale it up further. Don't even need regular new content, maybe award spendable in game resources like 10000 star coins each level, drop an extra heavy gen (like a Gemini) on about level 80 to speed the end game, maybe one new adventure at 76 with ridiculous camps... and a quest to beat it 20 times or something.
    - An AB-level coop. Given the PF quests to complete a coop, there should be one (just one) in a Siege-style map that uses AB, EQ, or MCC level bandits and bosses. Could make it a drop from Princess, give us reason to run that more. Seriously, this should take less time than most new advents, I'm asking to use existing maps and bandits. It would be for level 56+ really, but there's a ton of those people now.
    - Continued wondrous res availability, in fact, this would be a great leveling award above 75. Give us a wondrous res every 4 levels starting at 76. Land density is probably the biggest issue, rather than make new islands (which obviously has already been done), allowing for higher pop density means we can get rid of lesser buildings for one of these, and they are great resource sinks.
-End game achievements and very long quest cycles - like run every missions / venture that is available through normal means 10 times, even including follow ups that might be hard to get. So only the gem-only or historic seasonal adventures (EotW, soccer matches) would be excluded. Rewards? Star coins or specific high level buffs. Or make this into a quest to run each adventure/venture/scenario once, from Bounty Hunter all the way to the end of MCC. One at a time, in some painful order lol. Have these start cycling in at level 50 so people can start working on them early, especially the follow ups that are too rare. Produce 1 million, 10 million, 100 million, 1 billion water (no idea if this is possible in a few years... but yeah seriously end game stuff).
-Expansion of Pathfinder quest choices. I've seen them all multiple times, throw some different crappy missions in there, like VtV or whatever. I actually have had some fun running all my DP, WotS, Horseback, Nords, etc lately. Originally out of boredom, but then because some of the old advents are kinda fun and there's literally no reason once you hit the level you can run Nords to ever run these again. It's a lot of unused content.
-Same with weeklies, add a few more to the cycle. Balance not so important, since we can choose to let them expire, but please... use more of the existing content!

And beyond that, we know flash is getting end of life dates now. Chrome reminds me every time I open it. Have an official "what's next?" thread. Is there a new platform coming (even underdeveloped, most of us would sign up lol, and you can skip the "pvp" stuff we won't miss it really really)? Is there a new settlers world to play in (online multiplayer, not stand alone pc game)? I'm willing to play anything new, even if it's slow going at first. For all the complaints, I'm here because ultimately balancing an economy to prepare to take on bandits appeals to the basic castles gamer in me. And most of the others here. Best way to sell a new game to all of us... is to create a settlers endgame series of achievements levels quests while making sure all of us know what's next.

I think the Settlers Alliance is supposed to be doing that for me, but it's really confusing trying to figure out what that is. Is it a new pc game, online game, ???

Settlers Alliance is a website for the PC Settlers products.

The Settlers 2020 game itself should be a pc game similar to the old days with new features. It looks like its back to using the some of the familiar mechanics of what started the series.
