Dear Settlers,
Why do you have guilds? What incentive is there here to join a guild? Let's see, you can trade with a group of people without waiting the 24 hours once you have been in the guild for 24 hours. You can usually get extra guild coins although you do usually have to "pay" something for them be it resources or doing adventures. Easier chat with a smaller group??? There's really nothing except the smaller group chat. People can find others to become friends with and trade with them after the same 24 hours and continue after by keeping them in their friends list. Not in a guild? They can still get the guild coins by trading in Trade Office, private, and explorers(when booked). Not in a guild? They can still purchase items from the guild tab. Not in a guild? They can set up a chat away from global and have others join if they want. Once again there is nothing special.
Why not make it so people must be in a guild to be able to buy from the guild market? Why not make it so explorers(when booked) bring back Obsidian Ore instead of guild coins? Why not make it so you can only trade guild coins IF you are in a guild?
Why have guild items change all the time? How about a guild catalog and have all items be able to be purchased with no set end date. The catalog can always have items added like a guild union hall that holds 500 settlers but takes up very little space. When a guildie buys a bigger item, that bigger item then gets locked for that guildie. So, for example, I could get the geo today and someone starting the game next year could also get the geo when they get the guild coins saved up for it. Meanwhile I can save up to buy the next item I want, be it the imp deerstalker or a buff. The catalog would also have medipacks, buffs, and advents which could be purchased any time and as often as wanted. The catalog would allow members to be able to purchase smaller items without the fear of missing out on an opportunity of a bigger item especially if their guild is smaller.
Also, instead of people hunting through guilds that may no longer be active, how about having a place where guild leaders can go once a week (or month) to put up they are accepting new members.
Thanks for listening!
