Would love to see the ability to trade away basic 15 min gens like Battle Hardened & Big Helmet. They have their use very early in a player's game time & were useful back when there wasn't a lot of different or really good gens like there is now. So it was a warm body on sac heavy adv's like VLT for example. But some of us longtimers have them just sitting in star. And it would be nice if they could be traded so that we can give them to newer players. And I say gens like these as they are just a basic no frills 15 min gen which would be very helpful for newer players so that they at least have a 15 min gen for doing loot spots. Could even make it where each new player is limited to being able to get just one gen traded to them if that would help in deciding to allow it. Could do the same with Jolly Geologist since he is more or less the basic faster geo
And if not able to or not wanting to make these tradeable, at least maybe offer them on rotation in the guild market as a way for newer guildies to aquire. Specialists I'd love to see in guild market are Battlehardened or Big helmet general, Jolly Geologist & Savage Scout Explorer. I say those three as they are pretty much the most basic gem specialists for each specialist type
Would also like to see the guild market turn around time increased a bit. I find it rotates way too frequently. Thus making it harder for newer players to save up for wanted items. It is ok for long timers as we just skip buying most of the time. But for newer players, they will be more likely to be able to use more of the items on offer. And when a building in there is often 5-7k or more in guild coin, that's hard for a newer player to get since you CAN'T save up more then about 2500 gc/rotation. And that is with doing guild quest every day in a guild with TONS of ACTIVE players. Our guild is ok because most of us will help the newer players get those items. But even that we can't do as often anymore with how often the market rotates. Maybe increase it by a week or two at least?
Another idea when the game moves to the new technology. Please add it where with those cool down buildings we have the option when getting them, of either getting the building, or getting blue prints for the building if we already have the building. For example the Labs. I buy the first lab. Then if I want more of them, I then have the option of either getting more copies of the building. Or I can buy blue prints that get applied to an existing Lab building.
Long as you keep it browser based. And we don't loose our islands & progress, I will be ok with what ever you have planned.
I usually play on my PC laptop. But there are also many times where I have logged onto my phone & used a phone browser (Puffin browser as it has built in flash) to access the game.
And if you do make it something else other then browser based, then at least make it where I can download what ever that is onto my phone or tablet as well as onto my laptop.
And to be honest, I think I would even be ok if they had to do a complete reset. Long as I got all my stuff & all the resources to upgrade the buildings in that stuff. And that the upgrade went immediately to the levels they were at. I have a LOT of level 6 & 7 upgraded stuff. Would not be impressed if I had to wait for all that stuff to do the normal L6 & L7 upgrades (7-10 days for example)
Though preferably, I would just like a smooth transition of island & progress to what ever the new thing is you guys do
This is absolutely spot on!!!
Esp with the Explorers. For the love of the game, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE implement mechanics that make it where we can send out groups of explorers on tasks rather then having to do several clicks on each.and.every.single.one. of our explorers. Some of the long timers have well over 60 explorers. A suggestion on how it could work. Make the mechanic where we select a search type & length. Then a list of all eligible explorers for the search come up. And we then select all expos we want to send on the particular search
Agree 100% Specific details of this should be already available to be shared. I for one do NOT plan on spending any more $$ on gems until I am sure that I would get more then 4 months worth out of my purchase. And I am certain that I am not alone on this. If you want to see continued $$ spent on the game, it would be in your best interest to give more details about this sooner rather then later

Is nice to hear that there is a plan at least. Granted it would be even better to be informed of the direction a bit more specific, ie. switching to HTML5, JavaScript, downloaded game with new game engine....
And 1 thing I would really like to see addressed in the new platform is the serious use of system resources/RAM drain the game has the longer it is open. After a few hours this game will hog over 2 GB or RAM on my computer and really starts to become laggy/freeze up. I play a racing game (ProjectTorque - can view pictures or video to compare system demand) and that will only take up about 0.6 to 0.8 GB of RAM after racing for 6 hours on different tracks and having different drivers join the room.
I think the game has been getting really monty hall in the last 2 year with events having 3 gens & 4 explorers & 3 Geo's each event, plus it seems more of a money grab with so many things for sale.
When we move over I think it would be good if it was rained in a bit so that you can only bring over a dozen of each. When you have events it would be nice if an average player can realistically get 50% of the items offered, so heavy players can get 100%, it's is annoying when your spending 8 hours a day here for 3 weeks and you still can't get half of what is offered.
I would like a true barracks for our generals. One that all go to automatically upon return but that they could be loaded and launched from without the extra step now required to "find a place" to put them then load. Just the gens regularly used, has rendered the two sandy arch's uninhabitable plus few more still scattered on the map.
Space is precious.
I just wanted to thank you for providing an update. This situation has been becoming an increasing concern.
One thing I've talked about with my brother is how it would be nice to be able to select all generals in an adventure at once to move everyone to the next garrison area, instead of having to move one at a time.

Huzzah! Thank you for the update! I can't imagine what it must be like behind the scenes to transition a game like this to 'modern tech', but it's appreciated! Not just because I've invested YEARS in this game and would hate to see it end, but also because it's one of the few games I enjoy coming back to and playing after all these years!
I would like two things:
- A mostly intact main PC game, i.e. as much like the current one as possible, but maybe some improvements in some user interfaces as you clean up old code and write new. Explorers and Geologists especially, and also the ability to group buildings for buffing.
- An initially simple mobile interface that can be developed over time into more of a full game, but initially being able to do island maintenance tasks like "send all free explorers on short treasure searches" or "send geologist group G on a granite search" or "buff the copper chain with irmas baskets" would be a great way to get me to log in when no at my PC - and free up my PC time for adventuring, etc when I don't have to do basic maintenance the first 10 minutes I'm on.
Anywho, glad to hear there's a plan, best of luck with the coding and implementation. And I will forgive the first few hotfixes in advance
great news. I Was worried about ending up in a box set with other games .
