Rarity Search or Artifact Search for Explorers?

I keep waffling back and forth whenever I think about booking up my explorers. Of course there's also the option of just spending the last book lower in the tree. Does anyone have any suggestions, considerations, or convincing arguments on picking one or the other?

I also have a couple of questions about the rarity search. These two sites give completely contradictory information:
    https://en.tsomaps.com/handbook/explorers
    http://settlersonlinewiki.eu/en/guides/explorer/

The *.eu wiki seems to indicate that the primary finds are only iron ore or coal, and only about 40% of the time do you find beans or guild coins.
TSOmaps indicates that the primary finds are higher end resources like granite, saltpeter and titanium bars, but has no indication of the frequency for finding beans or guild coins. Does anyone know which one is closer to being correct and what actually happens when you send out a rarity search?

Artifact search is a lot more valuable based almost entirely on the snow buffs. Everything else is junk. For a long time, I prioritized that, and I have a lot of explorers with it.

I like rarity search because it means I never have to worry about guild coins, and the beans are a nice bonus. I put that on all my explorers with triple/quadruple returns, which nets plenty of resources.

I have so many explorers booked with both that I've stopped bothering adding it to most new ones. Same with adventure searches.

I put Rarity search on my Bewitching & Lovely Explorers. Since they always find the maximum value of something, whenever they do find guild coins or beans, it's always the max of 50. Otherwise all they find is iron ore or coal, exactly as the eu wiki says.

Thank you both. I was wondering if anyone even found the rarity search useful because most people seem to recommend the artifact search by default. And it's good to get some clarification regarding the discrepancy between the two wikis.
