    :/
Global chat is not where all players hang out when in game. Most are in trade or guild chat. And during the hour I was on I did not see any discussion of an unscheduled maint downtime. I lost the gem progress. I lost the chance for the last explorer send. We need in-game and at least 24 hrs unless it's an emergency hot-fix, which are truly & legitimately unexpected.

I am now down to playing about an hour a night because gameplay is becoming more and more tedious. Most of that hour is spent clickclickclickclickclickclick to sent out explorers and geos. By the time that's done I am bored. The events are too numerous and too close together with event items too expensive. Events used to be special and uncommon, event currency was sufficient to achieve a reasonable number of event special items, and the long period between events gave them a "must play" feel followed by months of normal to recoup resources, place new content and figure out how to balance production. Now event mode is the norm and gameplay has become enslaved to whatever event resources are demanded. Events spoil the TO because nearly all trade is geared to event resources, and the events are repetitive. I spent the entire Halloween event just cranking Strom Recovery to supply the fields.

Seriously, there are so many small things that could be changed to entice players like me into playing longer and even spending gems occasionally. We don't need additional levels if all that brings are more troop killing advs and large footprint buildings. What we need are more ways to personalize our islands like rotating buildings, removing/repositioning trees & rocks, more deco items like trees, flowers, medieval walls, etc. Since we can't have free move days we need the ability to store buildings then rebuild them AT THE LEVEL THEY ARE WHEN STORED. We need to be able to move buildings around to accommodate new content. We need to have more buildable spaces on the expansion islands.

I hope once the move to Unity is complete that developers will spend more time reading player ideas, suggestions and complaints and try to keep player interest up once we achieve the 65th level. Bogging us down with excessive exp gaps demanding more hours to advance ain't the way to go. We need game content that rewards things other than whack-a-rama adventures. It's a sim game, can't we sim more than battle?

If you were only on for an hour, why wouldn't you have seen this maintenance when you logged on? That maintenance also I am pretty sure was after the first phase of the event ended as well because I remember thinking well at least most explorers had come back when it was scheduled.

    You go on to say.

If you are only playing an hour, why would you be leaving the game open 24/7 which it appears you must be if you don't see maintenance notices.

I actually like that the events are numerous because far too many people only play for events now and that makes some guilds extremely dead in between events.

I would love to have daily quests that do reward huge amounts of experience but take people a bit of time to complete though.

People play for different reasons. Some people are more interested in having those more levels rather than playing around with their islands. I would like a free move day because they have introduced so many new buildings, etc since I originally placed some but all those cosmetics have limited play value to me. Maybe a day or two worth in fact, whereas increasing max often gives a full year's worth of playing.

No kidding, with 115 explorers, it takes a long time to send them all out for searches

Many of us go straight into the game, bypassing the main page which has the notifications, so a mass mail or a pop-up notice would actually be beneficial.

I too would love to have a free move day or couple of days, but I would also like to have the ability to move storehouses, maybe not the original ones, but all the special ones that have been added to the game over the years.

When I logged on, the maint was already underway, less than 24 hrs after the last time I logged on.

No it was before the end of Phase 1.

I don't. As I said, the unscheduled maint happened less than 24 hrs after I logged in, hence there was no announcement before I logged off that night.

Good, because that is how the game works now, for those who like to play your way. Why have all the fabulous graphics (and they really are amazing) if we aren't really encouraged to hang around and see them, work with them to design a great looking AND functional kingdom without having to spend hours on repetitive adventuring or dropping real money? We can have both so not only the adventure lovers enjoy playing but also the sim/design lovers likewise have an outlet.

About this new adventure - "Bonaberti Business"

I am not sure what the point is in putting an adventure in that consumes a lot of troops/gives so little experience and less loot than you can get elsewhere. A lot of people I have talked to don't see the point in even doing the questline and after doing a couple I tend to agree with them.

I guess it is relatively quick to do but other than that I can't see why you wasted your time creating it.

reason it has less xp is because like misty cake it doesnt count PFB if enough of you complain about the fact the buff is working on it when it should they might actually fix it

Oh I didn't know that. I couldn't figure out why my YWC which is supposed to give less xp base was giving almost double that with premium.

You know though with the troop losses involved even with that extra for PFB, it still wouldn't be worth doing. It really should be giving double the xp it does and be more on par with a ToK.

I did the quest chain. Seemed anticlimactic. I was expecting more of a reward than 150 obsidian ore. Better off running MCC for that. For the adventure loot, I could just run Wood Cutter and lose fewer than 60 troops, instead of something like 1500 plus several hundred recruits (granted, I just went based on the wiki and did not try to mitigate losses, but whatever the case, I'm not going to get down that low).
