Unity strikes again!
18 mins after hitting the play button:
https://prnt.sc/1e8fygm
Good to know at least some of my roads are still there!!
Add this to the list.
Hover over an explorer.
Get an info pop-up showing the skills.
Click and open the menu box.
Hover over any of the four clearly labled icons and get an info pop-up of exactly the same label? Why?
Then when hovering over any of the search icons, get an expanded info pop-up telling what science affects what in the search.
That info is available on demand using the Open Skills Tree function and it is a waste showing it repetitively for hundreds of specialists every time they are selected and used.
And to add insult to injury, the loot messages are encumbered with a listing of all the skills that applied to the search, which is pointless, but exceedingly useless as it does not include the name of the explorer.
A lot of the useless skills displays affect geologists, too, and often the pop-up displays cover control buttons and makes it impossible to send them.
Get rid of all those pop-ups.
Icons do not display backgrounds and borders correctly in trade office.
Go to a standard border for all specialists, resources, buildings, buffs, etc. The picture frames and color codings are distracting and not helpful.
Whatever was done makes all the icons very blurry.
Can't cut and paste chat text. That was a very useful function. For example, when someone posted a link to detailed game information. Now, hard to read, no cut and paste, and the ability to help is squashed.
so ty for this.. i did this and 2 other changes ( the two in screenshots are now enabled): result is it doesnt load faster - but star menu closes normally unless i pin it making buffing easier (before it was staying open) and collies collect 75% faster in my test today.. havent tested mail yet.
*update = explorer sends seem to work a bit better -- at least they go OUT w/ a responding pop up now.
* 2nd update = i turned off scaling and zoomed to 200% -- the menu / quest / etc windows are now in scale w/ chat !!
use as yer own risk
(this is opera lasted version on win 10 w/ latest updates)
Hello everyone.
The same version of Unity has been implemented in all TSO instances, so as you can guess, the issues are similar in each of them. I know many of you would like to go back to the download client and wait until the problems with the Unity version are resolved. I also know a lot of players who can't play for a long time because Linux/Mac OS is not supported by the temporary client. Currently, they can access the game, but they have to face the difficulties we all currently have while playing the game, until the fixes are released.
At the moment, as announced on our website, the development team is working with the highest priority to fix all "game breaking" issues, which make the game unplayable or difficult to play.
The next update is planned for August, as soon as the fix is ready.
If you'd like to help with this process, we've created a new dedicated thread for reporting issues https://forum.thesettlersonline.net/...eport-template. It's very important to report any issues with your Unity version in this thread.
I want to apologise for the current situation and let you know, that the team is working very hard to fix the issues.

How about we do weekly server updates, with the current items fixed, until all is resolved? Rather than wait 1 month at a time, only to find out there are still issues. As, IMO, none of the issues I saw during Test were resolved, it would at least show progress and allow players the ability to do some things in the mean time. Plus you don't want to dump a new version to try shortly before an Event. That would certainly kill off many players if the issues are still present.
Thank you for the update. There are so many issues that it seems wise that the team consider how to immediately make the client available again in the interim. If you are able to keep the Unity version in place as an option for MAC/Linux users that may be fine with them; however, the game is not realistically playable as it stands. and the entire user community is now feeling alienated at the garbage that has been rolled out. The issues are far deeper than technical as BB has a HUGE dissatisfied customer base. This ill-will will not be fixed by a software patch and taking weeks or months to fix will only make the problem worse!
The problem is that all of these issues were happening, and were reported, on test2. How did you expect them to magically be fixed by throwing it onto the live servers? The same 'dedicated reporting thread' was also on test2 and was packed full of issues that were not fixed and now came to the players' live worlds.
Not your fault Traffer but someone has to be sacked for this travesty.
