That is the start of the kind of communication needed at this point, for sure. I would have added anything related to generals losing focus and not being able to retreat when it happens during adventures (and the myriad of problems for expeditions, as well) since running adventures is kind of important during most events.
Thank you for posting a clear and concise update.
Things that didn't get mentioned, and nobody seems to be talking about but are currently serious issues are with logging into the game. This is a recurrent issue that many seem to experience from what I've managed to see in chats, and in my guild's chat on Discord.
1) When logging into the game, as soon as the screen changes from the splash screen to the game screen (island screen), the "Connection to server has been lost" (Hammer Guy) winds up on the screen, and within less than two minutes, the box pops up to "Click OK to refresh your client". As stated previously, this is a recurring problem, and frequent, happening several times each day.
2) Getting disconnected from the game once one can finally get into the game and get it to load properly is another issue. Frequently, once I've been "booted" from the game in this manner, I am unable to get back in, due to the previously mentioned situation recurring over and over. This, too, happens to a lot of people and not just me. I have spoken with a number of people in my guild and outside of it who experience this issue also.
3)The "Flooded Island" issue, which occurs after the game attempts to load is also another one that many people are experiencing. The game will apparently half-load, leaving the island with buildings and other player-built items, but looking like it's flooded. When it's like that, the Build menu won't work, unable to send out any specialists, and mousing over certain generals will turn the whole screen blue, like being out over the ocean. Sometimes a few attempts to reload will help, and sometimes it will revert to issue 1 in this list.
It's great that things like the mailbox issues others are having will be addressed, but in my humble opinion, the log-in issues and ability to stay connected to the server are far more important. I think I can safely speak for many people in saying that we hope these issues will be addressed soon.
Thank you for finally communicating with us. Why was this released with all these problems, couldn't it have waited until most were fixed? When is the problem with generals going to be fixed. when one is returning and you click on it another general will pop up leading to loading that gen with the troops meant for the other general. Also if a gen returns while you are loading troops the general you have up will be replaced by the general returning, again resulting in loading and sending the wrong general.
It's good that the event will be delayed if needed. I can't imagine trying to play an event until at least the awful lag is fixed.
Like Lady_Mystica said, I have been unable to log into the game at all for days now.

For me it's a constant I can't get into the game at all, and you didn't even address this issue, of course the support team email I sent has been completely ignored after the automatic generated route response.
Is there going to be any reimbursement for our lost Premium time? I have not been able to log in since last maintanance I have done everything we are supposed to try and have got nothing but the connection lost hammer guy.
I too am having the same issues with the game as Lady Mystica. I try each day at least twice to see if it is working better and it is not. At this point there is not playing the game for me until being able to log into the game is fixed so I will wait and keep checking. Thanks for letting us know a little what is going on behind the scenes to get the game working correctly again. Hopefully it will be soon.
Thank you for the detailed communication. I imagine that things are just as frustrating server side as they are player side. As disgruntled as I get some days, I remind myself that after over 10 years playing this game and loving it, that the BBs have always pulled through for us. This perhaps was a bigger and more complex migration than imagined, and no doubt the cause of many migraines behind the scenes, when things went horribly south.
Keeping my productions chains sleeping, and awaiting the next round of fixes is my way of reducing frustration. Right now, trying to *really* play the game is like trying to put a bikini on a pig -- it ruins the bikini and aggravates the pig.
As with Lady Mystica and Lady Isabell, I would like priority given to the login issues, as if one cannot successfully login and stay in, there is no game play. Savvy?
Personally, unless a boatload more fixes are made, I would just scrap the Anni Event, and suggest getting things tip top for Halloween (which will be here before we know it and is one of the biggest events in the game along with Xmas). Running any event while there is a long list of bug fixes needed would just not be prudent, and begs for more aggravated players.
Thanks for all you do, Trafffer.
