This feedback is based on the Test server merch and the Dev Diary. I'll update my feedback if there are any differences between the live events.

It was nice at the first look...

...but when I checked it from closer, it turned out it was too nice to be true.


Bad moves

Questions

• Why do you remove merch items that can be bought by gems?! You removed 6 standalone explorers, overall costs were 26394 gems. Seriously?! WHY?
• You added a ridiculously expensive Colorful Chest bundle for 34999 gems. Why? Probably no one will buy this. Personally, I'd pay those gems for explorers instead, as I mentioned in the previous point!
• Why did you remove the Lover's Statue by gems? It's the same thing as the explorer. Some peeps would pay 23996 gems for 4 Statues instead of the pricey bundle.
• Removing standalone explorers is a fundamentally wrong move. I have already mentioned this many times. Why do you think it's a good idea?
• Removed Rabbit Breeding by gems ... it was pricey, but again, it's not as pricey as the new bundle. Why did you remove it?
• The General Sylvana has been replaced by Boris. But... Boris is more expensive (even though they are the same) and there is no gem option. Why?
• The Buildings Bundle was a very good option for the low- and mid-level players. Now it's gone as well. Why?
• No PFB at all... yet again. Why?!
• No Premium days in the bundles either! Why?!
• Why do you put outdated gens into newly designed bundles?! MMA, Veteran, MoD... really?!?! Whos uses these nowadays?!

New buildings
In my opinion, both are useless. The Fish Caretaker might be good for lower-level players who don't have Fish Farms yet. The Holi Festival Grounds is a joke with its 7x7 area and 7-day cooldown.


Good moves

• The Specialists Bundle.. it was a meh, so it's fine.
• Spring Park moved into the bundles. At least we can get more than one of this at least.
• Super Bundle was too pricey for its content. The only good stuff was the Romantic expl. in it.
• We can buy Wondrous Spring Residences outside of the bundles!
• Bunny Burrows upgrade options are very nice! Maybe an additional 4th level (+160) upgrade would be nice as well to have a total of 640 pop.

Conclusion
Thanks to your new way, I will have less stuff during the event... So, I barely will spend any time and "money" on this event as you just removed all the useful stuff. I won't pay 35k gems for a useless bundle, and at the same time, I cannot spend 50390 gems (6 standalone explorers + 4 Lovers Statues). So Congratulations! You just lost that many gems/money from me.

If I want to deal with inflation and greed, I live my real life. But I play this game because it is fun and joyous and to switch off my brain from real life. But you, BB, have ruined this. And this is not the 1st time, not the 2nd time and not even the 3rd time... Tell me... why should I continue to play this game then...?

Some math for you...

Last year, if someone collected 130k eggs and spent 60k gems, they got

• 12 explorers
• 5 gens
• 5 Lover Statues
• 2 Rabbit Breedings
• 1 Spring Park
• 2 geos
• 6 Workyard buildings (3x Improved Silos, 1x Watermill, 1x Improved Butcher, 1x Improved Mill)
• 3 Wond. Spring Res. (with upgrades)
• 2 storehouse
• 1 Egg Tree
• 1 Art Museum
• 1 Candy Factory
• 2 PFBs
• Premium Days
• tons of buffs and medipacks
• etc.

This year... well.. for the similar amount of eggs (120K) we can get:

• 3 explorers
• 4 gens
• 2 Lovers Statues
• 2 Rabbit Breedings
• 1 Spring Park
• 2 geos
• 3 Workyard buildings (1x Watermill, 1x Imp. Butcher, 1x Imp. Mill)
• 3 Wond. Spring Res. (with upgrades)
• 1 storehouse
• 1 Egg Tree
• Premium Days
• tons of buffs and medipacks
• etc.

No PFB.

If you pay 60k gems in total, you could can get extra:

• 2 Lovers Statues
• 1 Spring Parks
• 2 explorers
• 3 gens
• 2 geos
• 1 Wond. Res.
• 5 Workyard buildings

If you pay 168k (!!!) gems in total, you could can get extra:

• 6 Lovers Statues
• 3 Spring Parks
• 6 explorers
• 9 gens
• 6 geos
• 3 Wond. Res.
• 15 Workyard buildings

So overall, even if you would spend 2.5x more gems, you would even get only 9 explorers instead of 12 from last year. With 60k gems even less... only 5 explorers in total!!! And no PFB. But you can buy loads of useless stuff (outdated gens, meh geo) that comes with bundles... Thanks, but no thanks.

I can't load up the island. Haven't been able to, since march 12th! After it loads up the home page, it goes to a brown loading bar, which shows full. And that's all it does. I sent in a ticket, but no help there yet. It's like the loading bar is stuck, instead of slowly loading like it should. From the home page to that solid brown bar. That is it. Can somebody fix this? I spent far to much money on gems, to let this island refuse to load up!

This egg tree hasn't been working like this for awhile.

Note: the Egg Hunt buff must be applied before you send out your Explorers. However, if Explorers are out on a search when the buff expires, their event resources upon returning will still be affected by the Egg Hunt bonus.

I sent out a bunch of explorers for this last event the day before the egg buff was expiring and they all came back with no egg hunt bonus loot.

Can we be told if this is fixed before we use this tree again because it is awful expensive to use and then get cheated out of half the loot because it doesn't work as advertised.

yeah new and more login issues being reported still.. some can get in, some cant, some browsers work, same ones don't work for others... makes no sense.

egg tree has been busted for over a year, its been pointed out that there's some serious bugs with it.

First off, on activation, you may or may not have -8-12 hours pushed from explorers currently out with an instant timer reduction, which may, or may not get doubled. this is just idk a complete bug, but in no way makes up for the lack of bonus on your final send.
Certain explorers, i cant recall the two or three, i want to say witches, lovely and another, sometimes return with a bonus, but not always. (like its supposed to be 100%, not random).
explorers sent out during an active buff have NEVER had bonuses applied on returning if the buff has elapsed it timer on the main island despite what this building is supposed to do, making that last final send completely worthless. It all has to be done within the 3 day time frame of said buff. It was never coded right to stick, it ends when the island buff ends, contrary to what is posted for it.

building is still good but having these bugs involved short changes you a full days of explorers+ any explorer with a 4-11 day send, especially if you were interested in getting #3-4 for a second activation for events, for another 3+ rounds of all being sent.
With all the reduction in the events items this past years event, im not even sure if even worthwhile to use anymore just over zombie clicking explorers in general...

p.s we really need that send all feature

Seriously?

It should be the players can get 3x Fluffy Butte explorers with Eggs and 1x for Gems. Now you have it 1x Butte for eggs and 3x for Gems ?!
Past Easters offered more adventures with double Loot including "Arctic Explorer" & Bastille Island. Not this year ?!

I can not help but agree with the comments above. I usually look forward to all of the events however upon first glance I see nothing really exciting and it pales in comparison to all previous Easter Events.
As opposed to actually fixing the game so it functions properly to encourage play you seem to be only concerned about skins..skins, skins, skins always new skin stuff but no fixes and no response to the things players have been begging for such as maybe some new Adventures and a mass explorer send out, apparently your solution to this is to reduce the number of explorers available in all future events...if we don't give them more explorers then maybe they will stop asking for a mass send option and we can just push skins.
I was initially very negative regarding the new Starfall and well, I admit, I was wrong it is actually a great addition for many players and I thought hey they are onto something and are trying to add new and exciting things but after seeing how scaled back this Easters event is in comparison to previous years it has negated my good feelings towards future changes and events. I thought shrinkflation only happened on the grocery store shelves however I now realize it takes place in the digital world as well based on all the things no longer offered or available this Easter or at a considerably higher cost.
If it aint broke don't fix it is the general rule of thumb Easter was not broke and did not need this drastic change however the things that are broke you don't seem to be able or willing to fix, it is like you are almost trying to dissuade people from playing.
This is going to be a long and boring event for so many players, events are the busiest and best times here, sadly with the dramatic overhaul to this years Easter Event I think many seasoned players will participate at the bare bone minimum as opposed to basically going nuts for three weeks straight as there is little offered to keep higher level players engaged.

I don't really think it is random. I think the explorers are resetting their tables if you logged out and back in a few times after the buff has expired and before the explorers come back. I came on about 3 hours after the buff expired and the explorers who were coming back had the bonus loot. But then my power went off for a bit and when I came back on about 30 minutes or so later the none of the explorers came back with the bonus loot.

Easter event is going to be even sadder than Valentines........ and that's pretty sad. Not sure what you're hoping to accomplish with these event changes BB, unless a controlled, slow motion demolition of the game/player base is the ultimate objective..... Keep this up and you'll surely hit it.

BUG: Party crashers instantly crashing.

Mine and at least one other Guildmate's crashers are being instantly obliterated when someone hits them with even just 3 truces. No option for the island owner to crash them. No other truces were put on the crashers. Other Guildies, no problem, crashers stay up until the island owner says no mas.
