Some interesting news indeed!
Question: is that "Guild Fest" a brand new additional event, or a replacement for an existing one?
rather than adding island space we could use a structure that will house several buildings
Before even thinking about making suggestions for new features I'd like to see long standing bugs and performance issues fixed.
- For many years now the game lags and freezes badly visiting and buffing islands of friends and guildmembers, hampering player interaction.
- For years now the cursor focus in text entry boxes has been stolen by quest progress updates resulting in entry errors.
- For years now the there has been no priority for tool tip popups and confirmation windows resulting in them interfering with each other and getting stuck open.
- For well over a year the Easter Egg tree has been bugged.
Thank you for releasing a new Mayors Update. I was thinking there would only be the initial one. The Look Back was very informative. The look at current issues was clear. The look ahead was somewhat foggy, as all proposals are...
When you have a large number of people rushing to the top level, you should be farther along that to say "upping the top level is easy, but we want it to have meaningful content", especially when you have a large number of people quitting from lack of advancement availability! There is nothing meaningful about not being allowed to use the experience points you have!
And yes! Stop the **** cursor focus shifting! Frustrating to the point of quitting!
Any chance of having tool tips turned off in settings? The overlap of tips preventing you from doing anything is also annoying.
Lastly, and very importantly, it's about time we were allowed to send groups of explorers!
I was happy to read that you're working on a feature that allows players to send out specialists in groups. It's long been an issue for me having to spend so much time sending them out - particularly during events. Thank you for this. It's welcome news and I look forward to its implementation.
simple idea to increase space: a ship we can buy with gems or event resources that can hold special buildings like wonderous residences or snack stands etc... or maybe make these special buildings stackable...
and for new adventures, how about a scenario that uses up a lot of the resources that should be rare but are not like gold coins, beans, etc... reward for the scenario is a ton of xp and a new 2 player classical adventure that soaks up a ton of regular troops and the reward for this classical adventure is a ton of xp and a new 3 person elite adventure. kinda like a quest chain. the final map you walk in to the treasure room and find a chest but it has been opened and looted by thousands of adventurers before you. (how "meta" would this be) but as you leave the room you realize you got the greatest loot of all. friendship... and a prestigious friend buff.
basically a way to soak up tons of troops and resources to bring back the scarcity that should be present in this game. the reward isnt more resources but instead a ton of XP instead. difficulty should be very high since the PFB reward will be so in demand...
Thanks for the update, I can't wait for the send all explores update. Having to send over 200 explores is over 800 clicks. I did suggest stacking the special buildings, but instead why can't we have one on the island and count the other buildings in the star menu? Why can't we send generals from the star menu instead of having landing spots. My two bottom two islands only have generals on them. We send explores from the star menu. Also sending generals to adv all at once isn't in order, so it's more of a pain then sending them one at time. (I know more players play this game) in Anno online we were able to settle on nine islands. This is called settlers, so how come we can't settle other islands? And why is there a timer on the starfall anyway. I don't bother with it anymore.
Suggestion 1: Add a rare new resource called "Magic Dust" that allows players to convert ANY resource to this resource. This could be accessed either through the Provision House, the merchant, or a new magic-themed building. For example, convert 1000 brew to 1 Magic Dust. Magic Dust could then be exchanged or converted to other resources or used to purchase other magic-themed generals, specialists, buildings.
Suggestion 2: Implement adventure scaling based on player's level. This could be an optional toggle added to every adventure that would make it so the difficulty and loot of the adventure would increase based on the player's level. For example, if the player is between level 50-65, the difficulty and loot would increase by 125%, if they are between 75-80, an increase of 200%. It would be better to use a range of levels to reduce the number of new guides that would be needed.
Suggestion 3: Recurring daily home island raids. This could be a pirate-themed recurring questline where pirate camps appear in designated spots around the home island and the player can defeat them with generals and troops. These quests could reward the player with experience points, a peg-leg general, a parrot explorer, pirate ships, and of course chests full of booty!
